Weekend Getaway!
My husband and I had a great time! This hotel has the feel of a bed and breakfast but, the privacy of a hotel! We were met at the door and the staff took our bags to our room for us! The room was amazingly clean and the bed was very comfortable! We will definitely go back!!

What a great place to stay!
We had 2 and 4 small kids and we were all comfortable! IN ONE ROOM! The location of this hotel was perfect. The drop off and pick up is little unorthodox - you pull into median island in the center of the street and they just grab your stuff and run it up to your rooms. But it is safer than it sounds. Great breakfast- better than your average fare. Staff was friendly. We were disappionted that we did not have a balcony but nice view. Be warned! NO ELEVATORS!l our 3rd room made think twice when walking out

Hard to find a better place in the center of things
GREAT staff. From the minute we checked in until we checked out they were friendly and helpful. There's a nice continental breakfast set out each morning, and the staff is cheerful and helpful. The rooms are clean, but nothing elegant. The hotel is right in the middle of everything, so it's fairly easy to walk to wherever you want to go. The bottom line -- we'd stay there again.

"Hidden treasure"
We had traveled to Jacksonville for a Monkees concert and drove down to St. Augustine the next day before heading back home. We had been to St. Augustine many times and had never stayed at the St. George Inn but we sure will again. It is a hidden treasure in a great location. The owners went out of their way to make our stay comfortable and hastle free. We look forward to our next stay at the St. George Inn!

awesome location
My boyfriend and I had a two night get away which was perfect. Hotel was perfectly located within walking distance to historic sights and quaint little bars and eaterys . Hotel staff very friendly and helpful. We will be returning to this hotel for sure on our next st. Augustine trip!

Can take a trolley for guided tour or in perfect walking distance to sites if you don't mind a little exercise . This will save money for admission prices once you get to each individual site.

The Old Pro
Wonderful choice
Stayed at the St. George on 2/13/11 and had a very enjoyable stay. The owner/operator could not have been nicer and went out of his way to make sure our stay was one to remember. We were surprised that St. George Street was so dead in the evening but that helped getting to sleep. The view of the City Gate and the Fort from the room balcony was outstanding, especially at night. Would definitely stay there again.

Do not miss the lunch at Cafe Alcazar. The food was fabulous, staff friendly, dress casual, price very reasonable and the atmosphere wonderful with background music provided by a live piano player. Mr. Flager would be quite pleased how his historic hotel and swimming pool is now being used in the 21st century to entertain the public.

More then I expected
I never expected it to be so wonderful..To tell you the truth having arrived in St. Augustine at 7am, driving past the Inn. I didn't expect it to be what it turned out to be.. The staff was wonderful and made arrangements for an early check in, showed us to our room and gave us a full tour and explaintion of all amenities..The room was immaculate, the views of the gardens and court yard was beyond enjoyable.. I have traveled up and down the east coast and never had a more enjoyable stay ever.. I would recomend it to everyone.. If I could rate it higher then a 5, believe me it would be a 10..

Lovely Inn
Once we figured out how to get inside it was great! Even walking in the rain to the parking garage was fun.Right downtown in Old Town and wonderful room and accomodations. Delightful breakfast. Just right. Great place to stay.

SUPER LOCATION AND PRICE
IT WAS A GREAT HALLOWEEN WEEKEND. WE WERE RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF ALL THE ACTIVITIES AND RESTURANTS.EMPLOYEES WERE VERY FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL. HIGHLY RECOMENDED
