you get what you pay for!
Upon entering the lobby, there was a good 45 min wait as only one person was running the front desk. (even though the owner was there and saw the long line)! Desk clerk was clearly overworked and dirty looking! Room was badly in need of remodeling. The door was warped and had to be slammed shut. (literally with your foot) The ocean view room viewed the parking lot more than the ocean! Room was damp and left black feet if you walked on it barefoot. Due to the renourishment of the beach going on, there was plenty of security and police hanging around. No breakfast was provided. Coffee was in the lobby. There was a coffee maker in the room, but coffee was not replenished after the first night.

Go to Anastasia State park for the day. It cost $8.00 and the beach there was not crowded.

Not so great
We were not impressed by this hotel at all. Check-in was easy but they are not equipped to handle many people booking at the same time. It was easter weekend and they just were not prepared. Many people had to wait for sheets been cleaned. When we were finally able to enter our room we had to wait for towels that they brought us at around 9pm because they ran out and had to go out and buy more. We so glad we only stayed one night.

Horrible place, it's cheap for a reason
We waited for 4 hours to check in, but never did. They over booked and never made formal announcement. The facility was extremely dirty and the staff was not professional at all. There were over 30 people still waiting to hear they had no more rooms. I travel often and like a good deal. This place however is a dump and isn't even worth the time and energy it would take to get there. Stay home!

Dont stay here!
Worst hotel ever! Dont be fooled by the picture on line. The staff were unattentive and unprofessional. The Mgr stood in the lobby arguing with her staff while one other staff member was overwhelmed by the eight to ten customers waiting in line to check in. The place was run down and disgusting. The pool and the fact that it is located on the beach were the only things they have going for them, unfortunately that was not enough to over come the rest of the experience. We checked out of the hotel within an hour of our arrival.

The room and hotel was dirty and very poorly kept. Yes we were on the beach but that was the only good thing. Took over 1 1/2 hour to check in because of poor organization. The microwave, stove, bath and in general the wasterrible. NOT a THREE stra.

Terrible, substandard hotel
This hotel was terrible for a number of reasons. 1. The door to the room was warped and couldn't close properly. 2. The toilet was cracked. 3. The paint on the walls was chipping. 4. The wireless network wasn't working. 5. The room was not clean. Photos available upon request.

Nice location
First off, When we arrived there was a line out the door. Granted it was a holiday weekend but still, I've never experienced that before anywhere else I had stayed. Well between the hotel and other online agencies there were double and triple booked. I did end up getting a room since another customer had to leave due to an emergency. The room was nasty, no towels or anything. We were exhausted since we didn't get into our room until 10ish and had some drinks. We wanted to get away and spend some time together. The hotel takes dogs and we were unaware and it smelt bad and our allergies were going crazy. The next morning we started at 7 am on trying to get towels. They promised they would be up soon so we went down stairs to eat breakfast (they had roaches years ago and I was unaware of this) and got back to our room at 10. Still no towels, pillows blankets anything. My boyfriend went down to get towels so we could take showers and go shopping since it was already getting late now. When we came back they left ONE pillow. Now we had a king size bed and had two the night before. That wasn't going to work. So again I marched my happy butt down there, found housekeeping and told him we need towels, pillows and blanket. Finally when we got back late that night (midnight) we actually had what we needed. Also, the first night there was some guy banging on our door at 1am. When lounging at the pool every customer had complaints. This was overpriced and horrible/terrible service. We would rather be at Super 8 then this dump hole.
