Regency Inn St. Augustine

room was clean. friendly staff. Bed was not very good. To hard. My back and body hurt from sleeping on it. Location was great.

just what we wanted. a nice hotel, close to the beach, walk to restaurants, clean, neat, and reasonably priced.

My family stayed at this hotel during the Thanksgiving holiday. The indoor was awesome for this time of year. The carpet in the room appeared to be new. The room was very clean. English is the native language of all the staff we encountered, which was a nice chage to other places we've stayed in recent years. They were all very nice and helpful. The location is awesome! It is across the street from the beach, a fishing pier (you have to pay to enter, but I don't know how much), a free playground with splash pad, and volleyball courts. I don't think you can access the beach at this park, but there are beach access points nearby.

This hotel was perfect for the price. Clean, more than enough room, and perfectly comfortable. The room was the perfect temperature and the water pressure was great. Im not sure where all the bad reviews are coming from.... But this place was perfect for the money. 2 queen sized beds for 67 per night... I mean what else could you ask for? It was just about 5 min away from St. George street which worked out perfectly... I would def recommend this hotel to others out there. :)

I was very happy with my stay. The room was clean and they had what I needed as far as amenities go. I would definitely recommend it for the money.

My husband and I were looking for a nice place for a weekend away from home. We chose to find a nice relaxing place by the beach. This hotel is right across the street from the beach so it was going to be nice to relax there. As it turns out we had cold rainy weather and this hotel had an indoor heated pool so they had it covered. It was a nice quiet place with a comfortable room. The bad weather didn't dampen our good time at all. I would love to go back sometime in the near future.

we stayed here for one night for the price i was actually more than i expected. the pool was nice but would have been better if open later. staff was very professional and nice. was close to the beach only dislike i have is that it took a little while for the air conditioning to cool down but once it did room was nice may i recommend that for reservations the staff go in and turn the air on prior to guests checking in other than bravo nice place

This is our pick for a decent hotel within walking distance to the beach for under $100. It's right across the street from the county beach park (pier, volleyball, restrooms). (Use the nicer restrooms in the trailer by the bocce courts.) Some hotels "on the beach" are more like 5 blocks, so we are cautious when we book a "beach" hotel. Indoor pool provides Plan B for the rain. Simple breakfast is good. Fridge and microwave included. Many other hotels close by got awful reviews for bugs and such, so we stuck with Regency. We've stayed there 3 times in the last 2 years and brought friends for the recent weekend. Also, seems like the beds were new: really firm with a soft top. Great! Also Panama Hattie's next door has great food and a nice deck.

Good location - right across the street from the beach. Two good restaurants within walking distance. Convenience store next door. Average hotel room. Clean, nothing fancy. Refrig and microwave included. Bed was REALLY hard. Breakfast had minimal selection. [...]
