Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites ST. AUGUSTINE-HIST. DISTRICT

When we arrived at the non-smoking suite - it smelled not so good. The good news is that the next day, after the cleaning crew came in, the room was truly spotless and smelled great. The kids ate breakfast for free (which was awesome) and the dining staff was EXCELLENT. In our room, wi-fi was come and go. Not great. My husband was annoyed by that and by the fact that one of the TVs remotes wasn't working. Also, the pull out sofa bed mattress was SO thin that it was painful to sleep on. (what can you really expect with a pull out?) The location was perfect. Close proximity to all the areas we needed to get to. Overall, our stay in St. Augustine was delightful but mostly due to the city (not necessarily the hotel)

Hotel was great, clean, and the staff were very friendly. This hotel was a little bit further from downtown then other hotels but we didnt mind the 10-15 minute walk, there were so many shops on the way you dont even notice. Plus the trolley station was only a block from the hotel. Would definitely stay here again!

This Holiday Inn is a place where you can sleep in a clean room without any frills. Our room was clean and a perfect place for us to dump our stuff and visit St. Augustine for a good price. There is free parking and wifi. Our A/C unit smelled a bit musty but it was tolerable for one night. The breakfast buffet was great. I wouldnt pay more than our $130 rate (before tax, etc.), and if we were staying longer, I definitely would have considered staying closer inside the Historic District.

The staff at the Holiday Inn were friendly and helpful. They assisted us in getting a shuttle to the Trolley Depot. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable.

Our family has stayed at probably 15 different holiday inn expresses over the years, and this one was towards the bottom of the barrel. The staff was sufficient, the facilities were borderline adequate, yet the cleanliness factor left a bit to be desired. One of my hotel pet peeves is when they prevent your ability to adjust the a/c in your own room. It makes me want to start traveling with my tool box. When my wife opened up the sleeper sofa for our 2 year old daughter to try sleeping in a regular bed for the first time (no cribs were available despite reserving one 2 months in advance) a 2 inch roach jumped out to greet her. It brings a new meaning to the term "roach motel"!!! Ok ok sorry about that one.

room was very clean and fresh, front desk and restaurant staff was fantastic, very helpful with directions, calling the shuttle and everything else we needed.

This hotel was average compared to other Holiday Inns at which I have stayed. We had a non-smoking room on a floor of all smoking rooms so the hallway smelled bad. The room smelled good, the beds were comfortable and it was great to have two queen sized beds. I prefer hotels that include breakfast, but knew breakfast was not included at time of purchase. For the price it seems like the overall experience could be a little better.

We are senior citizens who wanted a short trip for a relaxing weekend and to enjoy Mother's Day. We chose St. Augustine and the Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites. The hotel lobby was beautiful and our room was fantastic. We enjoyed delicious food at The Raintree, a stunning sunset while standing over the Atlantic Ocean and a very relaxing hotel room at the Holiday Inn. This was worth the travel and expense. Would HIGHLY recommend to everyone.

The room was neat and clean, and the breakfast was awesome! The staff was very courteous and helpful. The only complaint at all was that we had to make trips to the front desk for in room coffee. There was no problem in getting it, but it should have already been in the room.
