Hampton Inn I-95 - St. Augustine
My husband and I went to St. Augustine this past Labor Day weekend. One of the hardest things to do before our trip was to choose the hotel due to the quantity available in the city and the reviews about them. We wanted a clean bedroom for less than US$100 and I must say that I was successful choosing this Hampton Inn. The hotel has a friendly staff. For example, the person responsible for the breakfast was always checking if everything was ok for guests and refilling food/beverages. The bedroom was satisfactory clean and also was spacious, had cable tv with HBO, and good speed for internet connection. The only thing I would say is a con: the noise the air conditioning did. The hotel is about 6 miles from the historic center and has a KFC and a Denny's in walking distance. Close to the St. Augustine Outlet Mall and the Premium Outlet. For people looking in my price range, this hotel is a good option.

Short drive from hotel
Castillo de San Marcos and Fort Matanzas National Monuments. As every park in the National Parks system, they're a must go.

Musty, damp and not very well kept
I have stayed at many Hampton Inns, and this one rates at the bottom in recent memory. Not the cleanliness that I have been accustomed to. The room was very damp and musty smelling. Check in was the worst Ive ever had with Hampton Inn. I would not stay here again.

Disappointed
Some what disappointed
Our check in time was 3:00 PM, we arrived at 3:30 PM and or room was not ready. We have an 8 month old child and the staff did not even offer us some water. We finally got to our room at 5:15 PM. Very disappointed in the service.

This was a very nice hotel. Out of the way and hard to fine. The pool was small and located near surrounding traffic (KFC). Would definitely stay again, only if I was going shopping and not wanting to go to the beach. The rooms were very nice and quiet.

Comfortable beds...clean rooms...
We were in St. Augustine for one night during 4th of July weekend. We were very impressed with the quality of the rooms, staff, and breakfast. The hotel is newly remodeled and the rooms are clean, and comfortable. The tv's are new and everything in the room is up to date. The microwave and refridgerator are clean and nice. The breakfast was awesome, and HOT!! Eggs, sausage, fruit, juice, cereal, oatmeal, toast, bagel...you name it. Perfect place for clean, comfortable, and quality stay!

Hampton Inn pleasant stay as expected
Conveniently located on I95 and just a ten minute drive to the historic district of St. Augustine, but far enough away to provide a peaceful respite for the weary tourist. Very pleasant stay, nice pool, clean and comfortable room and bed. Adequate continental style breakfast.

Hampton Inn St. Augustine - I-95
Wonderful location. Right off the interstate. Lots of shopping, if you have the time. Lots of history nearby. Walking distance to several restaurants. Really enjoyed the hot breakfast bar instead of regular continental style. Lots of choices for everyone. Only an indoor pool would have made our experience any better!
