Good experience

Good time. The a/c in the room did not work well but by the time we got back to our room and realized that it was not working at 100% we were settled in and too tired to try to move. Room was clean. Front desk was courteous. Too busy touring the town to use the pool but it looked clean and the area around it was clean and neat. The motel was in a good location in connection to the "tourist area". Not too close that you were caught in the traffic but close enough that you could get to the parking garage in about 5 minutes. Would stay there again.

OK hotel but very busy at check in

The Hotel was in a great location and I have stayed there before. They were very busy this trip and it took a while to check in. The room was a smoking room when I had specifically asked for non-smoking. The staff was awesome and very friendly. The room was clean and cool.

Time-saving tip: Short drive from hotel

Hotel is close enough to walk (about a mile) but it's worth it to park in public parking to be closer to downtown area.

This hotel meet my expectations.

This hotel meet my expectations and I was very happy with it. My only complaint is that I wish there had been a refridgerator in the room. The staff was very friendly and helped us with finding great places to eat and even gave us a coupon for free chowder at a local seafood restaurant.

Sightseeing tip: Short drive from hotel

Instead of trying to drive to the various attractions spend the money for one of the bus tours. It will save you the hastle of trying to drive in St. Augustine. Also, if you plan on going to the beach DO NOT go to St. Augustine beach unless you get there early. Finding a place to park is a real hastle. It is better to go down A1A towards Marineland because it isn't as crowded and parking is easier to find.

Good Location

Staff was very friendly and we were able to check in in 5 minutes. The room was clean but it had a musty smell and the a/c was kind of noisy. All we needed was place to sleep that was close to the historic distric and that's what we got.

Awful

[...] but the clerk put it through a second time so we incured 2 extra charges. I checked my e-mail and founed it was charged to my debit card, and the bank was witholding an extra $400 for the next 4 business days. After the wedding rehersal the clerk did correct this. What a mess on a day that should be special.

Very Clean and Comfortable!

Everything about Days Inn was great. The staff was friendly and room was very clean. The only downfall was that there was not a refrigerator in the room. Overall it was a great experience. We were close to all the attractions. We would definitly stay there again.

Amenities not as promised

We were assigned a handicapped-accessible room, which was ok. But the "free wi-fi" was only accessible in the lobby. Other guests shared the same experience. The in room coffee maker was defective. I prepared the coffee the night before, and woke up to a gallon of water on the tabletop. There was also nowhere to plug it in--there was a cheap extension cord with THREE cords plugged into it, and it was NOT equipped to handle the 3-prong plug that was jammed into it! (Major fire hazard!) Lastly, the shower head had absolutely NO water pressure. Not sure if that had to do with the accessibility feature or not. But quite annoying, nevertheless. The TV was small and there was no microwave, which is typical of motel rooms in the price range. The bed was comfortable, the room was quiet and the bathroom was large.
