Not what I was looking for

We saw a bug on the bed and thought for sure there were bedbugs. Got out the flash light and didn't see any..but gave me the creeps. The makeup light didn't work, but when I told them, they came and fixed it. Staff was very nice. Hotel just old and run down.

Nightlife tip: Short walk from hotel

There is a little bar at the end of the hotel....they give you a great drink for the price. The Raintree restaurant is around the corner and was really nice...Food excellent. If you like Bruschetta...try it..fabulous.

Graduation visit

Came down for Flagler's graduation ceremony and need a place to stay. This hotel has a great location, and the attached Denny's restaurant makes for a quick breakfast spot if neccessary. We did not have time to try the pool area, but the pool area looked inviting. The room's carpet was not very clean, however, the room was a pet friendly room. We did make sure to tell the front desk about the rug stains immediately after check-in. Otherwise, the room and hotal are just what you would expect. Nothing fancy, but if you are not planning to be in the room very much, this place will be good for resting your head.

Just OK

It was OK, but rooms definatley need updating, painting, better pillows, if you moved in bed, mattress moved with you, new toilet - bowl was badly stained, hard to get closet door open!!

Family getaway

It was great that there was a recliner in the room - however, it needed cleaning from the inside out! It was hard to keep the room from being stuffy since the air conditioner was a window one. However, we were pleased with the room.

moderate weekend break

the area was so close to the parade that we are after for, the church was also very close. the room needs cleaning, noted that it is an old hotel only change the color/paint outside to look good but inside needs new set of towels, bed sheets and the bathroom needs to be renovated. coffee maker needs to be changed, it is dirty as well as the sink...

Horrible experience

Upon checking in we found the television didn't work and that the room was dirty and musty. The staff moved us into a new room which wasn't much cleaner. The carpet was so dirty it left our feet black after walking on it. One day the toilet became clogged and when asked if there was a plunger i could borrow the clerk said no bc the maids went home for the day. This was at 4:30 pm. The last day there the water pressure was low which made it hard to take a shower. Finally , there is a dennys inside the hotel and guest are supposed to receive a 20% discount. Wrong again. The manager at dennys said they havent honored that false advertisment for months. I will never go there or any other days inn again. And to top it off, the management didn't do anything when confronted with the problems.

St. Aug, wth

From the outside, this looks like a typical Days Inn. All the outside walls and doors are fairly freshly painted, and the pool area was nice and clean. But once we got to our room, we were pretty disappointed. The sheets, blankets, etc all seemed dingy and cheap. We had to change our 1st room because the smell of smoke was unbearable (this was a non-smoking room). The 2nd room we got smelled a little better but the air conditioner was extremely loud and the room still felt dirty. Our room was never cleaned the 2nd day. They were charging $150/night for this. I know it's a resort town but that's a terrible value.
