Trendy and high-tech St. Augustine hotel with fire pit and outdoor pool
Nothing feels stuffy about the Courtyard by Marriott St. Augustine hotel, despite its appeal among business travelers. Hip public spaces and guest rooms combine design and modern convenience. Free high-speed wireless Internet access fills guest rooms, the café and private "media pods" with outlets and personal flat-screen TVs. Check in at trendy "welcome pedestals," print boarding passes in the lobby and use a touch-screen to retrieve driving directions, news, weather or restaurant info. A fire pit next to the pool and Jacuzzi is cozy after dark.

St. Augustine
Nice hotel, but..........
This hotel is clean, and well equipped. But restaurant is not good. Guests have to have breakfast and dinner outside, but there are not so many around. So it was tiring to go out everytime. But except for it, we are all satisfied.

Just what we needed
Beautiful room. Very clean. Plenty of room for our two year old. Plenty of parking. Helpful and courteous staff. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to stay in the area.

nice hotel
We arrived after midnight on New Year's Eve. The hotel was crowded and the receptionist was unsure of our room, but once we got that settled everything worked out. The hotel is very clean and the lobby is quite nice. We especially enjoyed the pool deck.

Short drive from hotel
St Augustine was so much fun to visit. It is a historic city with many tourist attractions including Ponce de Leon's home, Ripley's Believe It or Not museum, architectural tours, horse and buggy rides, train tours, tapas restaurants and wine bars, and many other shops and eateries.

Mother of teen tourists
nice hotel, out of the way location
nice, modern hotel. Small room, although nicely appointed and seemingly high-end. Breakfast was not included, although [...]said it was supposed to be. Hotel is located very far from the historic section of St. Augustine. As a family of tourists, it would have been better to stay more along the "main drag".

St. Augustine - Georgie's Diner was fun for the kids, the Lighthouse was great exercise, and the Fort was quite interesting, too. The downtown historic section was great. They have awesome fudge and chocolates. You can park at the huge municipal parking garage and walk to everything but the Lighthouse. There's an amazing die-cast store there with thousands of die-cast cars and war planes (they are not on the internet, so you have to go and see for yourself). The jailhouse had an amazing tour guide and was fascinating, and the Fountain of Youth was fun and a little romantic. I recommend going there - it's a great day trip (could be 2 days). Crowd seemed slightly upscale and family-friendly.

Great location for the price!
My husband and I planned a quick trip to tour the area for possible relocation. We were extremely happy with the location, simple check-in, very friendly staff, fresh decor and the room was spacious. No continental breakfast but there's a bistro style cafe. There's a small micro and mini fridge which we used. The fitness facility was small but had the basics for a perfect workout. There's two cycles, two treadmills, one bench and free weights. There's a TV and they provide towels for your workout. The pool was small but due to our time constraint we did not use it. I did see nice lounge chairs surrounding the pool. The bed and pillows were very comfortable too. The staff was friendly and the hotel was very clean. Also, like other reviewers noted it's very close to St. Augustine and the beaches. We highly recommend this hotel and look forward to returning.
