Good Value

Our first room needed some serious cleaning but we were quickly moved to a clean room. Rooms are small but functional. Quiet even though right by airport. B'fast OK. staff had to man the front desk, service the B'fast area, check on concerns, etc. Needed to be cloned. Good price for Sarasota this time of year. Easy drive to beaches walking distance to Ringling museum.

Fine hotel

I only stayed one night, the staff was nice but there is no exercise room and there are no restaurants near by. For a quick overnight stay this hotel is fine.

Good stay! Kinda meh water, though.

The staff was nice, cordial. The continental breakfast, though my wife didn't like the waffles. I liked them! Only complaint was that the water was kind of sticky, had an off-smell to it. Hard to wash off when we got home. I don't know if they can help that - city water and near the beach and all. But over all, a good stay! No bed bugs, beds were comfortable, nice shower, carpet was nice, no real complaints besides the water. :)

Nice Place, but No Extended Check-Out.

I had a nice, clean room with a beautiful view from the 2nd floor! I only stayed there one night, but would have gladly stayed there longer! I was a little disappointed because the hotel staff refused to give me a later check-out time. I wanted a 1pm check-out, but they would only extend it to 12pm. I needed it because I was in a half marathon race that day and wanted to come back to take a shower after the race and didn't know how long it would be so I wanted that little bit of an extension... I was sorely disappointed. There was no negotiating with the staff person. I felt like I was talking to the "check-out nazi" LOL. But overall, it wasn't too bad. I just had to go home without that well-desired shower.

So nice. Great Price

I loved my stay at this hotel. I stayed for 3 nights on a visit from texas to visit my boyfriend. It rained and the weather was cold, so we didn't go out much. The hotel was very nice and clean. I loved that it was tucked away in the back. I thought being so close to the airport that the noise would be annoyingly loud, but I didn't hear anything at all. The only complaint that I had about the room was that my boyfriend found a baby lizard. I of course overreacted. But that is my only complaint. Maybe its just a Florida thing, all the lizards. Eww... But that's all. LOVED IT!!!!

Better than expected

Only spent one night and had no major complaints. Decent continental breakfast, comfortable bed and quiet surroundings despite proximity of airport. Flapper in toilet stuck open causing toilet to run on first use. I fixed flapper rather than call front desk and it worked fine thereafter.

Great stay at Sleep inn sarasota airpor

Great stay, great location, we were visiting our friends that had moved to sarasota, so they had found this hotel and stayed here when they had first moved here.My wife and I SLEPT like a BABY. Staff was great, housekeeping was great, I would recommend this to my friends. At this price, I can afford to stay an extra night. Then we also walked to the Ringling musuem, ( must see by the way) Classic car museum, caught a evening performance at the Asolo Theatre.Thumbs up for a Romantic weekend getaway.
