Central Sarasota hotel with pool, gym, free breakfast and Internet

1st time snowbird
A stop along the way
Not the best of all the places we stayed along the way. Guy at the desk was slow as molasses and not much of a front desk greater. Dirty towels from a previous guest in the bathroom. Tub could have been cleaned better and didn't drain while showering. Bed comforter had cigarette burn holes in it.

Nightmare
Was the filthiest room Ive ever stayed in. The room had a pungent odor of animals. I requested a room that pets had not stayed in.I had to buy deodorant for the carpet so that I could sleep. Wore flip flops in shower because their was grime in the tub and pubic hairs everywhere.Disgusting!

Stealth Lambie
Cruddy in an ugly neighborhood
The first thing I had to do was open the toilet tank and adjust the flapper so it would stop running. On the plus side, it did have a fridge and microwave. TV and bed were OK but blanket skimpy and bedspread the typical DNA sample that slides off. Gloomy, scuzzy room, poor lighting, icky carpet. When the people next door come in and their door slams, it sounded like a bomb going off. You can park right in front of your door which is good. Breakfast wasn't bad - only hot food was waffles you make yourself. Lobby/breakfast room is pleasant. I wouldn't go out of my way to go there again...grim.

Sarasota Comfortable Enough
Friendly desk staff - helpful with area restaurants and to-do's. Breakfast was plentiful and crowd friendly! The shower fan and hairdryer didn't work - otherwise comfortable bed and clean accomodations.

Disappointed
Beds were tiny, they even had 4 tiny pillows on the beds. Bathroom in major need of attention. You can tell their trying but they missed the mark.

Poor hotel services
Arrived to find a dirty room with dirty bedding and fold out bed not made up. Items grudgingly corrected. 3rd day door lock did not work we were told we could go to front desk every time we wanted to get into room and use master key then bring it back or change to a room in a much noisier location. Both bad choices. We are sorry were the most common words we heard from the staff. I would not book this hotel again.

Nice Place, Great Value
This is a nice hotel that's convenient to lots of attractions. We got a great deal on the room and the front desk agent was so sweet and helpful and even gave us amazing recommendations for restaurants and sight-seeing.

Short drive to the most beautiful beach!
Second time we stayed here. It needs to be updated. It was clean on the surface. Had to ask for a new room. First room had a palomento bug the size of my fist!!! We had stayed here about 3 years ago and it was much better.

clean and reasonable
everything was great. Staff were very helpful. The only bad thing was that my sink in 321 was plugged and didn't drain properly. Otherwise, I plan to stay there again.
