Great breakfast at the Lido Grill

All the employees were nice. The frozen drinks at the Tiki bar were good but they were a bit pricey at $8.50. Canned beer was $4.75. We had a king size room in the main building and because it faced the parking lot, you could hear everyone coming and going all night. We had an omelet in the Lido Grille and really enjoyed it. It was $10, but the omelet was huge and it came with toast and hash browns. Overall, it was a good experience.

In St. Armand's circle, the best bang for your buck is the Daiquiri Deck. All the other restaurants are very overpriced.

A taste of the caribbean in the states!

The resort was beautiful, clean and very inviting. The pools were great with the availability of an "adult" pool a nice option. The staff at the tiki bar were awesome, and the beach, well, you just need to see it for yourself.

lido beach

The hotel is comprised of two buildings, an old section that looks like an old holiday inn and a new tower. All of the single rooms are in the old building so that you feel like you are staying in a motel. The two buildings are not connected so that I had to brave the elements to go to the tower to use the fitness room. Next time I want to stay at the holiday inn I will book it.

great place on a beautiful beach

The staff were friendly and helpful, going out of their way to accommodate our wishes. We stayed in the older section of the hotel, which is less luxurious than the new tower, but that did not bother us. Our room had a well-equipped kitchenette and was right on the beach. The room was clean, but had some scuffs on the wall that need to be repainted. (That's my only complaint, and it's minor.)

Lido Beach weekend

Fairly inexpensive. Room was noisy. Main grill for dinner. timing of food being served was very poor. Lost one of our main courses. Brought one main course with appetiser then took it back. Candle was never lit, Lights kept going up and down in the grill.. Dinner was an adventure.

Wow, wow, and wowzah!

The resort was amazing. the staff was beyond accommodating. Literally anything I asked for I received within 5 minutes or less. This was including but not limited to; medication, help working the thermostat, extra soap, extra towels, shuttle service, my favorite football game switched on in the bar. When the gift shop ran out of batteries the hotel staff gave me some from their own personal stash. The resort and the area were very flexible; if we wanted to have a cheap night out it was available as well as the more expensive luxury dining/shopping experience. i will definitely go back to this resort again. I have been to Florida a handful of times and it was awful. This experience will definitely have me coming back very soon. November was the perfect time to visit this resort. Thank you Lido Beach Resort!

Dining tip: Short walk from hotel

The restaurants were lovely in the circle area, which was a 3/4 mile walk on the beach. However, if you plan to spend a night in and cook. Go to the grocery store before you get to Lido Beach. The only store in the circle to buy beer was very expensive, and the store for grocery shopping was 25min away and very overpriced... and I'm in NYC!
