Lido Beach Again
Traditional Holiday Inn Experience. Dated, clean, wonderful staff, great location, reasonable rates, and will return again. Decent food, nice bar, nice pool, and 40 feet from the Gulf Of Mexico. What's not to like. Oh, I almost forgot. St. Armands Circle 2 minutes walk. Great restuarants, shops, and people watching.

Great stay
Hotel being right on the beach was great. Staff was helpful with dining suggestions, although nearby dining was pricy for a family on a tight budget.

Great hotel stay
I normally dread staying at hotels, but this Holiday Inn was very clean, and the staff was friendly. This hotel was right across Lido beach- that was great and the restaurant on the 7th floor had an awesome view of the gulf for sunsets. We had no problems extending our checkout, since we had an evening flight. Overall it was a great stay at this hotel.

Awesome Friendly Staff - Great Location
This was our 4th stay at this hotel. We come to Sarsota every year for the boat race. We have stayed at other hotels there, but this is our favorite. [...]and everybody at the front desk were awesome. All of my expectations were met and then some. The hotel was fully booked and handled the crowd well. The pool was nice and cool and the resturant upstairs was good also. The fact that kids under 12 ate free at was a big plus. The room was clean, and the beds comfortable. The entire staff were always very friendly and made you feel happy. The view from the room was nice. We will return again next year.

Weekend Wedding
Loved the location! Beach was clean and not crowded......Only one umbrella was available to use. The room was okay, but the view of the beach was worth the extra cost. Buffet breakfast was also very good. Shopping at St. Armand's Circle was a plus! Free internet too!
