Love sanibel fl
Great hotel.
Clean, comfortable & quiet. Great location just steps from the beach. Amazing shelling. Staff was friendly, helpful and professional. I would definitely stay here again and will recommend this hotel to friends and family.

Pluses +++ and Minuses ---
The things that I liked about this hotel were its location and the lack of noise. We felt that we were central enough to go anywhere on the 2 islands and yet we had a beach about 50 steps away. It was great! We had a window unit air conditioner which was fine with us and it was very quiet. Loved having a balcony. Housekeeping was prompt but not thorough. Our floor was not vacuumed every day, sheets not changed, however, we did have clean towels each day. Internet connection was non-existent despite management's efforts. Went to Sanibel Bean to use the internet on the last day. Bottom line, people there are friendly, location is great, housekeeping needs improvement, and there was no internet for us on the property even though the staff tried to help us and we tried various locations. I might go there again if the price was right, but not at full price.

Short drive from hotel
Bowman's Beach was best for shelling. Go one hour before low tide. Tide tables are printed in the little promotional booklets that are free all over the island or in the Waterside Inn office.
