Excellent Stay
This hotel provided a great place for a family vacation. The one-bedroom suite was spacious, comfortable and recently renovated. The mini-kitchen, complete with dishes and silverware, was extremely useful. Balcony was lovely, with a great view of the pool and beach beyond. The staff was friendly and helpful. Tennis courts were available and in great condition. The restaurant was very good; we had breakfast and dinner there, and it was tasty and well priced. The pool is lovely, and the beach is spectacular. And the free bikes are great. This is a low-key, quiet place - highly recommended.

Paradise!
The staff was very happy and friendly. We were shocked when we opened the door to our regular room to find a Gulf of Mexico view! The only thing between our room and the Gulf was a pool. The grounds are very tropical and to have our lounge chairs and umbrella delivered and setup at the beach was wonderful! We also enjoyed the free kayaks. We have already planned our next trip to the island and to stay at the Sanibel Inn. The tub was slow to drain and the sheets were a little rough....that being said I still give high marks for the overall property. We also needed a DVD player and they brought one and hooked it up and there wasnt a charge for it.

really great for families
second time- great both times! never have a problem with staff, parking, housekeeping. there are always plenty of chairs and towels available. the restaurant has a good selection. there are convenience stores nearby and bike to get there. best shelling ever!

amazingly nice
Great experience. The room was nicely decorated and very clean. The view was amazing. The screened-in porch was the best feature. The only problem was that i requested late check out of one hour and i was refused. That is the first time any hotel has not allowed me a late check-out

Best Christmas Ever!
we had a wonderful time. I thought our building was the farthest from the beach but we still had a wonderful view and short walk! Loved the bikes and the umbrellas. The housekeeping service was exceptional! if there was a dish left on the counter they cleaned it. Clean dishes in the washer??? emptied!!! It was a perfect home away from home!

In Hotel
if you can get to the hotel. i don't suggest renting a car. you can use the bikes to get to the shopping and restaurants and even though they will start charging per room to use them it's cheaper than a car rental.

Great location on the beach
We had a wonderful week right on the beach and the hotel is very family friendly. Food was good at the restaurant, especially breakfast but rather expensive. Pool is nice but small and the beach is right there for great shelling. The location is wonderful and you can bike all over the island. Staff was great.

Ding Darling Refuge was wonderful as was the shell museum. Don't miss a drive to Captiva to take in the restaurants and a cruise to the outer islands.

awesome place to stay @ great fishin
we walk out of room to the beach with was right behind and fished are tails off. awesome food at island pizza, and cheeburger cheeburger.We would have like a later check out time.
