greet for adults
We have had a room with two Queen size beds (They did sleep greet), with microwave, refrigerator, Ocean view and a screened balcony. It was there so quiet in the first half of November even the hotel was fully booked. We did like our stay there so much that we did go back at the and of our round trip to stay there again for a couple of days. What we did misses however was a foot rest. Because of the toll-bridge the island is very safe to stay.

The Sanibel Inn has a great location and beach. Good for long beach walks and shelling. There is a good restaurant on site and a beach bar at the pool. Bicycles were first come first served and there weren't very many, so we never got to ride one. They could use a lot more. But the pool and tennis courts were good and there were plenty of chairs on the beach for us to use. We were upgraded from a suite to a 2 bdrm condo due to overbooking but one downside to the condo was that there is apparently no sound insulation between units, and we could hear everything next to and above us. And the shouting outside by the housekeeping and maintenance staff made it impossible to take any afternoon siestas. That was pretty annoying.

Island Escape
The ten days we stayed there were wonderful. The room was spotless and well laid out. The view from our room was spectacular overlooking the pool and the Gulf. Staff could not have been nicer or more helpful. We will return for our next Island escape.

Wonderful beach getaway
Staff was accommodating and helpful, partcularly the manager of the inn's restaurant. Resort fee covered all beach needs so you didn't have to keep shelling out money for beach towels, beach chairs and/or beach umbrellas. Quiet end of island with its own beachront. Really enjoyed my stay.

Paradise!
The staff was very happy and friendly. We were shocked when we opened the door to our regular room to find a Gulf of Mexico view! The only thing between our room and the Gulf was a pool. The grounds are very tropical and to have our lounge chairs and umbrella delivered and setup at the beach was wonderful! We also enjoyed the free kayaks. We have already planned our next trip to the island and to stay at the Sanibel Inn. The tub was slow to drain and the sheets were a little rough....that being said I still give high marks for the overall property. We also needed a DVD player and they brought one and hooked it up and there wasnt a charge for it.

Relaxing vacation
Cute and comfortable hotel. Very clean, staff very nice. Great views. Not crowded at all very quiet. Bicycles, kayaks, chairs and sun umbrellas are available for the guests. Pool side bar and grill quite small and dated. Access to shops and restaurants by bicycle or cabs. Having rental car helps as shops and dining is spaced out a bit.
