Mostly good experience

This hotel is beautifully located in a resort area. The views are great. The room was not exceptional. We were in the 2nd unit of three and I am told the newer unit is nicer. However, the room was clean and very adequate except for one problem--very dim lighting. We moved a floor lamp to the head of the bed to suppliment the bed lamp and still could not read in comfort.

See the historic hotel that now serves as the administration building of the Univ. of Tampa. It is unbelieveable.

NO good

Mostly what was missing was a elevator..two 65 year old women up the stairs with heavy suit cases. Also almost no shade to get out of the sun.. The new part is amazing. the old part where the deluxe rooms are . Are not so nice.. Food ok. Service not there at all. They are to over worked to help.

Resort is beautiful, not in the location

The resort was kept very clean and the rooms were really nice, however the location was a bit deceiving. We were hoping to stay close to Tampa or in a city outside of Tampa on the water...this resort was on the water but 40 minutes from the city and there was nothing around. The only restaurant and night life was the tiki bar on the resort and restaurant...lots of plantations and lots of cows!!!Overall it is not the place to stay for beautiful beaches and florida night life.

Awsome girls weekend.

My best friend and I were looking for a nice hotel on the beach for a girls only weekend. This place was wonderful. The price was reasonable and the location great. The Resort and club at Little harbor was not a stuffy over priced up scale resort. It is a very nice quiet, yet classy place to stay. The staff was very friendly and willing to do what every was needed to make sure their guests were happy and comfortable. From the 1/2 mile private beach, tiki bar and resurant everything was great. The food was awsome. A little on the pricy side, but great. I will definately go back!
