Good for the Money

Good Location and good place to relax. Carpet inside hotel looks horrible and dirty. Rooms are ok.

Sunsets on the beach . . .

In Tampa on business? This one is a little off the beaten path but well worth the drive! My “travel agent” wife picked this place for me for a week stay in Tampa. I was constantly sending her pictures of sunsets on the beach, the party at the beach front Tiki bar, or on warmer days from the air conditioned main dining room – also on the beach and a great place to enjoy a sunset on the bay. My room was in an older unit, but updated and very clean; TV, microwave, and fridge all worked out fine. Sunrise was enjoyed from my room balcony. The restaurant was very good and reasonably priced, the staff were very friendly, and the lounge and sports bar were great. No reason to go anywhere else after work. Only regret – my travel agent did not come along on this trip! This place is great!

sleepy waterside gem

Stayed just one night, on business nearby, so I didnt use the recreation, tennis, pool, boats, etc... But if you want something different than a sterile hotel, and want access to the bay, natural beach, and a bar right on the water, its a good find. Rooms are nicely decorated and furnished in the shell of what was an old motel. Stylish and comfortable. Crowded waterside tiki bar and outdoor dining with entertainment. Indoor lounge quieted down pretty quickly on Saturday night though.
