Serendipity

The hotel is part of a substantial first class waterfront resort/development. Rooms were very well furnished, including kitchen - except for old, very inferior TVs. But, the price was 1/2 of what I thought it's worth. I was there for business + golf so the TV wasn't important. The restaurant is 1st class. Not the Four Seasons - just excellent menu selection, very good food, reasonable prices, and very good service. The live entertainment is local, but professional and enjoyable. This is as good a value as I've seen in years.

Nothing special here....

Average room. I would have expected the little things to be taken care of before they rent the room... Cheap alarm clock that wasn't even plugged in (and you could not reach any plug near the bed because of the furniture), front of the room had not been cleaned in quite awhile, not much sound proofing material between rooms, etc. Beach was very nice and close by.

Dining tip: Short drive from hotel

If you are adventurous, eat at local establishments and enjoy the atmosphere. Fine dining is quite a drive away.

Quiet hotel with nice amenities

Breakfast was disappointing. It's a buffet but no one explained your oprions. They could make you an omelet or waffle but you didn't know until you went through the buffet of scarmbled eggs, etc. The staff at the hotel was very helpful and polite. You had to travel afield for other food and restaurant options.

A delightful surprise

We were visiting family in Sun City Center and found this hotel [...]. What a great find. It made the trip for us because we had a wonderful place to retreat before and after seeing family each day. We did lots of walking and enjoyed the sunset dinners on the beach patio. We enjoyed the jacuzzi too. Everything in the room was just fine. Our room overlooked the marina/mangrove pools, which was a nice view and interesting to watch when the fish were jumping. We will definitely stay here again as long as the price doesn't go too much above the $85 per night that we paid. The robes in the room are nice.

Nightlife tip: Short walk from hotel

There isn't a lot of nightlife out here, but the jacuzzi is nice.

Fantastic Getaway

Little Harbor is one of those places that are tranquil and fun to visit. Our unit was on the Marina side just a few steps from the water. Watching the sun set on Tampa Bay - really quite the place. Pros: -Immaculate Grounds -Rooms just as pictured on website -helpful staff at every turn -new and fresh -nice pools -restaurant onsite with live entertainment (try the gooy fudge dessert its great!) -plenty of beach chairs and umbrellas set up for you on the beach -covered parking and elevator in the harbor side bldgs Cons: -water on beach is murky (nothing the hotel can do about that) Only people it seemed to bother where from Florida. If you are fro Ohio or Canada you probably will not care Tips: -Stay harbor side and ask for a room facing the bay. Harbor side the rooms are new and if you face the bay you get a bay and Gulf view. Building "A" is the furthest from the road. -Nothing exciting for older kids - this is a great weekend getaway but don't expect to be entertained like a "Sandals" -This resort is for rest and relaxation in my opinion

Big Rest at Little Harbor

Our intention was to just have a relaxing time and that we did! The rooms were spacious and clean. The furniture was nice and there was a small fridge, microwave and a coffee pot in the room... the tiki bar was nice and it was great to just sip our drinks and lie on the lounge chairs on Tampa Bay. The only problems were minor..... The bathroom very small and the restaurant menu left something to be desired, even though there was a lot to choose from. Unfortunately it seemed like half of the items had coconut in them, which isn't good if you don't like coconut! That being said, there's still enough to choose from and the food that we did order was good. We went on off-season rates (45% off)and it was a very nice stay.... I would highly recommend Little Harbor to anyone.

Visit to Southshore -Little Harbor

We own a home that we lease, so frequently come back to visit that property. Little Harbor is one of those places that are tranquil and fun to visit. Our unit was on the Marina side just a few steps from the water. Can't tell you how fun it was to see a small pod of dolphins have their dinner in the evenings, We were actually less than 4 ft from them watching them feed. Totally amazing. The rooms are clean and comfortable, staff is great. Always a joy to visit. Watching the sun set on Tampa Bay - really quite the place.
