Great place to relax

We had a great time but watch out for Lovebugs if you go in May these little bugs are everywhere. (Love light colors)No convenience or gift shop so you have to drive to town to pick up anything.(Only about 5 min drive) Bands were great Friday -Sunday The sunsets are awesome. Very Friendly staff.

Dining tip: Short walk from hotel

The resturant is buffet style the Sunset Lounge & Tiki bar menus are the same.It would be nice if they had some small side items (mini hamburgers, french fries, mini corn dogs)for the lighter side. We liked the Coconut shrimp & Mai Mai. Tiki bar & Lounge have great 2/1 everyday specials on drinks.

The good and the bad!

[...] makes it sound like all rooms overlook the water but they don't. The woman at the desk did change our room to a room overlooking the inlet and it was ok. I just think the description should have been more honest. The resort was nice and the resturant was good, but not an area to go siteseeing....

NO good

Mostly what was missing was a elevator..two 65 year old women up the stairs with heavy suit cases. Also almost no shade to get out of the sun.. The new part is amazing. the old part where the deluxe rooms are . Are not so nice.. Food ok. Service not there at all. They are to over worked to help.

Great location!

It was a great location, not on a busy street. Ruskin is located in between Tampa and Sarasota so it was only a half hour drive either way. The hotel room was great, Microwave and fridge in the room. The only bad thing is nowhere to hang up a towel in the room. We loved staying here and would love to go back, we had great service!!

Little Harbor

We enjoyed the beach front, both swimming pools and the restaurant. We really enjoyed our 2 day stay and wished it was longer.
