Mostly good experience

This hotel is beautifully located in a resort area. The views are great. The room was not exceptional. We were in the 2nd unit of three and I am told the newer unit is nicer. However, the room was clean and very adequate except for one problem--very dim lighting. We moved a floor lamp to the head of the bed to suppliment the bed lamp and still could not read in comfort.

unpleasent stay

3 huge cockroaches gave us a welcome upon entering the room. while chasing them a couple more found dead under bedside table. Under the bed and pn non transited places we found a thick layer of dust. counter top above refrigerator was hanging loose You have to move a heavy bed frame in order to reach for a power outlet, and Oh surprise!.... more dead roaches. Nasty place to stay. Decaying Amenities are ok, view is nice & the place has a lot of potential but has seen better days.

Unpleasant stay

The night we arrived while unpacking we found that we weren't alone. A HUGE roach came out walking on the wall from behind the bed head rest l,,,,grrrr I chased it.. jumped on the floor to hide under the bed and when I knee down and I see the thick layer of dirt on the carpet and a another two giant roaches already dead laying upside down under the bedside table I knew what to expect. The bed sheets has see through holes. they seems to be clean but worn out. TV sucks, Small refrigerator counter top hanging loose. hard o find electrical outlets, thick layer of dust found in places where are not transited. Place have a good potential but need serious remodeling.

Good place and good people

I prepaid a four night "deluxe" room at Little Harbor. On arrival, I was assigned to a room that did not meet my expectations. After awhile I went down to the desk with AAA tour book in hand and ask " Does this room measure up to the description in this book?" The staff immediately re-assigned me a fabulous room, looking out to the marina and the bay. And you wont find a better staff (including housekeeping and maintenance). For instance I called for help with a TV issue that was fixed in about 15 minutes. The place is GREAT!

summer fishing

We picked this place so I could go fishing. It was perfect for fishing and laying/swimming on the beach. However there was nothing around to site see or any nice restaurants in the town of Ruskin.
