Tropical South Florida hotel with a lovable tiki bar
The palm tree-lined beach sets a blissful scene at the Beachcomber Resort & Villas, a Pompano Beach hotel where two large outdoor pools are the center of the action. When beachgoers are finished playing volleyball or shuffleboard, they flock to the casual tiki bar or back to their rooms, luxurious and intimate with Floridian furniture and curved balconies. All rooms are non-smoking and include free Wi-Fi, and guests enjoy complimentary passes to a nearby gym, which is within driving distance.

- Located on the beach; within walking distance of local bars, restaurants, and stores. Golf, Tennis, Deep-sea fishing, Scuba diving, and Snorkeling all nearby. Lauderdale-by-the Sea dining and entertainment district, The Isle Casino, Butterfly World, Museum of Art, Galleria Mall, Las Olas Boulevard Shops and Restaurant district, Major shopping malls, Movie Theaters, & a Bowling Alley all within reasonable driving distance. Only food & beverage served by the resort may be consummed around pool areas and our beach.

- We have a 1066 square foot meeting room that can be divided into 2 rooms. The combined space can accommodate meetings of up to 100 persons seated theater style or 60 persons for a seated meal funtion. We also can hold weddings on our beach and have a large outside courtyard for catered events that can seat 250 persons and can be tented.

- In door dining room with floor to ceiling windows with a vista of our lushly landscapped main pool area against a backdrop of the beach and ocean. Open at 7 AM for breakfast. For lunch and dinner we offer an all day dining menu featuring American fare; enjoy appitizers like conch fritters, smoked fish dip & chicken wings. We also make our own hand tossed pizza, freshly prepare salads, burgers, sandwiches and wraps and we offer nightly dinner specials. Full liquor bar service is available.
- Outside Patio Dining Area
- We'll gladly serve your favorite drinks and/or anything featured the Ocean Grill's all day dining menu outside at our poolside patio dining area. We will also serve you while you lounge on our beach; just press the button on the Beach Butler that is strapped to your beach chaise lounge and one of our servers will come to place and deliver your order.

- We will deliver anything you want from the menu we feature at the Ocean Grill to your room during the Ocean Grill's normal hours of operation.

Little dis appointing..
Made advance reservations for a ocean view room with a King size bed.We were placed in a partial ocean view room with 2 double size beds.I,ve stayed at this hotel twice before and had no problems with my reservations.The hotel corrected this problem the next day at 2pm.[...]

Great "girls" vacation!
WE JUST RELAXED AT THE RESORT BY LAYING OUT IN THE SUN AND BEING BY THE POOL. RESORT WAS WONDERFUL, OCEAN FRONT BALCONY WAS VERY NICE! BEDS WERE VERY COMFORTABLE, VERY QUIET IN OUR ROOM, WOULD LIKE TO SEE THE CHAIRS FOR THE BEACH INCLUDED INSTEAD OF PAYING $5.

good place for beach vacation
I had three business appointments with Pompano Beach in the center location. The hotel is old and in desperate need of an update. Carpet looks dirty and airconditioner pretty loud. However, if you're just looking for some place to sleep and shower, this is the place. The balcony view is fantastic and the rental for beach chairs, cabanas, etc. is reasonable. The beach is fantastic. Staff seemed pretty friendly.

Ok nice ppl bad bathrooms and the pool closed at dark and really expensive nothing around and its for the older crowd all in all fort lauderdale is no panama beach fl

45th wedding annv.
We came to ft lauderdale for 45th wedding annv. [...] at the check-in was very helpful and made us feel very welcome. Our room was on the 8th floor great view of ocean and pool. Room was very nice bathroom could be a little bigger. [...] in the cafe was so nice, my daughter and her share the same name. We would stay again here, great for family or just a couple. Beach-Goer Beth
Good value for beach access
We mostly stayed at the hotel and went to the beach as it has direct beach access which is great. The beach was beautiful. I would recommend a room on the 2nd floor or above as the 1st floor was a bit noisy, the hotel accomodated us and moved us to the 6th floor with a great ocean view. It was good for the price, room came with a fridge and microwave. Beware though if want to sit directly on the beach you have to pay for their chairs and/or cabana. You can however sit at the pool deck for free. Had a cute outdoor bar, drinks a bit pricey though. Overall I would recommend the Beach Comber.

We saved money by packing our breakfast and lunch and using the hotel's fridge & microwave. Also if you want to see attractions or go out to dinner, renting a car helps. Beware most places make you pay for parking-there are a few restaurants that don't. And I don't recommend using a valet, as they lost the keys to our rental car. What?! Also not paying for a cabana or chairs from the hotel, used the chairs on the pool deck.
