Good deal for the price

First off...this hotel rents out by the day or week. Many of the people there were live ins.(Residents were very friendly) Wife and I came into town for a graduation ceremony and to visit family. Very convenient location.(Half mile north of the interstate) Clean room with a pool that was extremely well kept. No continental breakfast was available but restaurants all around. Easy to get in and out of.(Traffic was never a problem) Had cofee maker, microwave, and a fridge in room.(No coffee packs...like I expected...but grocery store was right around the corner and they had a convenient store in the office) Employees were very pleasant and took care of any needs we had.

If this place is 3 stars then ..........

If this place deserves 3 stars then I am Bill Gates, I have stayed at several hotels in Pensacola since coming there for work a few weeks ago and this place is BY FAR the worst in town. Yeah they have cheap rates, but there are other motels in town that are the same rate or less. This entire place stinks and the other tenants all look kinda sketchy. This place should be shut down rather than have a 3 star rating.

Wouldn't stay here again

I would not stay at this hotel again. It was down right scary. We only needed an overnight stay to breakdown our 16 hour drive. So we didn't want to spend to much money on a hotel for just to sleep at for a few hours. We got our moneys worth here. The location was in the worst part of town. The hotel room smelled of mildew and didn't look clean. The other tenants looked like they just made bail.

BARGAIN FOR A 3 STAR HOTEL

We were military servicemen looking for a place for our family. We rented another extra room for my father in law. This used to be Best Western Inn when we stayed there few months ago and paid $175.00 for for one BR suite. There were also a lot of military personnel there staying waiting for orders. We paid almost 60% less. They were renovating some rooms and have a new professional management. We found it very convenient in all locations, rooms are cleaned, pool is very accomodating to swim and relax. Staff are very helpful and act professional. They dress very decent and very friendly. There security is always making rounds for safety. For what I was told the new management replaced some old employees about a week ago for major improvement. They did a good job and it looks very new. Rooms have microwave, dishwasher, full size refrigerator,stove and utensils. Its a full kitchen.Even the small room for my in law have Microwave and refrigerator. Recommend that they need to open the pool a little bit early because they closed it around 9 PM. Also they need pick up transportation from the airport which they don't have.The internet, cable, and phone are all free. The small store they have in the lobby is very convenient for us for our immediate needs. We have a wonderful time in Pensacola and this hotel make our stay memorable and enjoyable. I have no complaint at all. The military discount help us a lot, I think they offer this also for senior and student. I would recommend this place again and will be back soon if ever. Beach are very close, recommend you bring your beach items, cause it very expensive to buy by the water.

it was nice, but nothing exceptional. We did not spend a lot of time at the hotel, so we were not looking for extra nice. A great location to everything.

The Queen Mary Inn in Pensacola

When we first got there the deskclerk [...] was nice. We checked in and was assigned a room, [...] told us that there had been a bad storm during the day and had knocked out all of the phone service. We went to find our room and tried the elevator, iat did not work. We came across a man who had been staying there for awhile and he told us that the phones has not work in at least a week and neither has the elevator. We finally found our room and walked in and the smoke alarm was beeping (this is 10:00 p.m.) and we were tried and ready to go to bed. We went back to the front desk and and told the clerk about the problem, he then assigned us another room, in another building. We drove around until we found the right building. The elevator did not work there either and there was some pretty shady people hanging around. As we were climbing the stairs to our room the clerk came running to find us and said that someone was already in that room. So we had to go back to the office to be reassigned ato yet another room, I informed the clerk that this was his last chance and I would go elsewhere [...]. This room was alright (not really good) no refridrator or microwave in the room, a coffee pot but no coffee. Will not recommend to anyone.

Love the Complimentary Stench

My stay was horrible. I go in to check in and two service desk personnel are fighting with each other. The machine to make card-keys was down, so the one of the ladies had to take me to my room and let me in. She wouldn't let me drive my car around first, so I had to leave my door open to go get the person I was traveling with and my things. The hallway was so dirty that it made me sick. It looked like no one had cleaned it in years. When I got into the room the stench was so bad I had to leave my door open to air out the room. The bathroom had soap that was already used, and there were bugs on the floor. The sheets on the bed looked like they had not been changed. There was black hair all over it. The ice machines, not the elevator worked either. They never checked my id to make sure that I was the right person, and when I left they just took my name and room number. This was a very sketch hotel.
