Great weekend but hotel needs improvements

Overall, the hotel was great. Huge rooms, festive beach decor, friendly staff, good food and delicious margaritas. Although, not as many things to do as I'd hoped for nighttime (Landshark Landing closed at 9pm and both nights we stayed had wedding receptions taking up half of the bar). The bed was noisy and uncomfortable, every time I rolled over I woke up my husband. The pool deck is a little cramped, too.

Short Vacation from Work

We had a wonderful time getting away from work for a few days. The hotel was extremely well put together and designed. We were welcome and helped out with all of our needs from the very courteous staff. We had an amazing view of the Gulf that we loved waking up to. We were also walking distance from all shops and restaurants. If only we had better weather, we would have had the perfect vacation!

The Sandshaker Bar had a very fun and inviting atmosphere! Live music from a solid band.
