MainStay Suites Pensacola

I was unable to accept the room reserved at Residence Inn b/c it was a thorough disappointment...not up to the standards I expected of the brand. The staff person [...] was quick to remedy the situation by calling other Marriott properties to relocate us. While she was nothing but helpful, Orbitz would be well-advised not to make reservations available at this location...It's unacceptable...looked like something you'd pay $29 a night for...we were "moved" to the Courtyard and that property was clean and the staff was among the most courteous and helpful I've ever experienced. I feel sorry for the staff at the Residence Inn but appreciate the help in relocating us cheerfully.

The room had a musty odor which was very unpleasant. Couldn't get past it. The AC did not work properly.

Stairs were too narrow, room was lacking many necessities such as blankets, pillows, sheets, etc. The office personel were very helped but their help was required too much. When I needed anything I had to go to the office to get it rather than it being sent to the room.

I was pleased with my room. It was roomy and had up to date appliances in the kitchen including a dishwasher. The decor was fresh, although a fresh coat of paint would do wonders. I asked for a non-smoking room and when I walked through the door it smelled like stale cigarettes. The staff immedialtey took care of the problem. Over all I would stay their again.

It had a nice living room area and full kitchen- a nice fireplace but did not use it. The restaurant next door was closed, Bennigans. I had hoped for a larger bathroom. Overall I would recommend it, it was a bit out of the way for our trip to see Pensacola Christian College, but not that far. Nice restaurants in driving distance. There really is no Univ Mall- a very sad Mall indeed. Not a bad drive from Airport. Clean rooms, great full hot breakfast- was impressed by that fact alone. Family friendly.

We were there for a softball tournament at University of West Florida. Location was great for going to the games and going down to the beach. We were there for 5 days and appreciated the hot breakfast. A little more variety would have been better. We enjoyed the wine/beer and soup/salad one evening. Room was clean. Area was much more quiet than the hotels near the beach since it was spring break. We enjoyed the hot tub one evening and it was very nice. The mattress was not up to the quality of other Mariotts we have stayed in. We were disappointed with all the vacancies in surrounding real estate (restaurants, shopping etc.)& access to the interstate. Overall we were pleased with our stay.

Clean, quiet and worth the price. Was able to accomplish my business objectives and come back and relax in the spacious room every evening.

Although it cost a bit more than what I would expect in Pensacola away from the beach and downtown, I feel Main Stay offers good value. The room was spacious and fully equipped, including an icemaker in the refrigerator. I especially appreciated the quiet at night. The staff could hardly have been more courteous and helpful.

STAFF WAS ALWAYS MORE THAN HELPFUL. OUR STAY WAS MADE MORE THAN COMFORTABLE AND WE WOULD RECOMMEND STAYING HERE. BREAKFASTS WERE GREAT AND OUR STAY WAS COMFORTABLE

My husband and I were very pleased with the room we stayed in at the Residence Inn by Marriott in Pensacola. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We would highly recommend it to anyone.
