great place
They had very friendly staff and a good breakfast. The place is close enough to walk down town and enjoy the sites as well as the night life.

Night before Graduation
In from out of state to attend university graduation. Was only there to spend the first night. It was descent and had a free breakfast. The ac was on and had to be unplugged.

Right in the historic downtown
This particular hotel is located right in the heart of the historic downtown area just a bit north of Lee Square, with its magnificent Confederate monument, and the equally magnificent First Baptist Church (it should be a cathedral!). For those who have an interest in just roaming about in historic places and beautiful Victorian neighborhoods, this is the place. Beaches and the Naval Air station are readily accessible and can be reached in but 15-20 minutes. Pensacola is a wonderful town where it seems that nothing is ever crowded and the pace is truly Southern in the best meaning of that word. Finally, there is is first-rate breakfast, complete with biscuits and gravy, and one of the friendliest hostesses in town, Miss Cassie. She alone would recommend the place.

Not only can the downtown be reached easily, but there are plenty of places in which to bicycle. Even the beaches and the historic Fort Pickens can be reached but it is a long cycle! Great place to visit with surely the friendliest folks in the Deep South.

Bang for the buck
The hotel wasn't a 5 star hotel, but that wasn't what I was buying. For the price, I was very satisfied with staff, amenities, location, and room quality. I would stay here again.

Place is a dump
The room was very run-down. The bathroom had a large cockroach and was dirty. The bathroom fan was very loud and could not be turned-off when the light was used. The air conditioner controls did not work. The walls had holes and the carpet was dirty. The room was full of trip hazards such as carpet strips, A/C cord, etc. There is a train track with loud train whistles nearby. We have never been disappointed by a Day's Inn until this one.

Straight-ahead motel
Very basic, functional motel. Room was clean if unexciting. Nearby rail line was not helpful in the sleep department, but this is well within walking distance of downtown Pensacola.

Great value for the price
The layout of the rooms was confusing but for the price the room was great. Not the nicest place in the world but for the price you can't beat it. Especially if you are in town for a concert, like we were, you can easily walk to and from the civic center. Plus as an added bonus they are pet friendly.

Foo Fighters
Low rent = low quality
The room quality was very poor. Dirty carpeting, the bathroom and shower were DEPLORABLE. The room was ok to just to have a roof over our heads, as we were in Pensacola for Deluna Fest. While the room was not all the great, I must say that the staff was FABULOUS! Our housekeeper Ashley (sp?) was so very helpful and I want to thank her personally for her hospitality. The continental breakfast host was anything but the "mostest".. she was shoving us out the door. I did NOT like that either :(

Need repairs
The bathroom fixtures were lose, and not mounted correcttly. The fridge did not work. Bed was comfortable and room was clean. Located very near downtown.

Downtown Pensacola was just a few blocks from the hotel. Their is great resturants and bars downtown. You don't have to go to the beach
