Sunswept Condiminiums by RAH

After booking and pre-paying for our room weeks in advance, we arrived at the front desk to check in and were told we owed another $150 on top of what was already paid for. When we refused to pay for "incidentals"- their term for this charge, we were told it would cost another $185 to cancel our stay, even though it was spring break week and they clearly could've filled our room with no problem. We are a married couple clearly over age 40, we are obviously not "spring-breakers", and do not trash hotel rooms. We did not understand why the extra charge was added on, and ended up leaving and staying at another location for the remainder of our trip. BEWARE of the small print!!!(we still haven't been able to find the part that says we would owe an extra $150...)

not good rite off $145.00 fee non refundable that was all it took. I will not use RAH EVERY the clerk was pay it or get out. you are here what you going to do

I have stayed in PCB since I was a Baby. My Most Favorite place to go! I have stayed in Many condo's and other places. When Arrived into town I called and spoke with the receptionist that said my room would be ready in one hour to go ahead and come in to check in early, that was great! it was only 11am so I would be on the beach by noon! When I arrived, she told me that my room was not ready and she would not have told me that... ok, so I dreamed that up. she then charged me a $300 security deposit that I will not get back for 10 to 14 days! Or a $45 non refundable. she charged me a $75 room cleaning fee, oh and a $15 additional auto charge, now I would understand but the parking lot was EMPTY.. all of the dishes were dirty, glasses had rings around them plates had food stuck to them. so again why did I pay a $75 cleaning fee? just nasty, the sewer seeped out for our entire stay... when I called the desk, they said they just didnt know what to do.... they would try to figure it out!

First of all it was not what I expected. I know the pictures are always better than the actual thing, but there was more of a discrepancy than there should have been. I also selected after hours check in, and when we arrived the office was closed with no note, number, or directions for how or where to check in. I never received an e-mail or anything notifying me of where to go to check in. [...]It took 2 hours from the time we arrived in Panama City Beach until we were actually in our room. There were flies in our room, everything was worn out, and it HARDLY had a pool view, and the patio was very dirty. The next morning when I turned the water on for a shower, the water was brown. I let it run for a little bit thinking maybe no one had been there for a while, but it still came out nasty dirty. I called the owner again and she did come right over. She called the city, then called me back. Now at this point I don't care why the water is dirty, I am a paying customer and I need a shower. Her solution was to inform me that the city was working on the pipes, there was a break, and dirt got in but if I just let it run for a while it would clear up. I was floored, no offer to refund or upgrade or anything. So after letting the water run for over 30 mins, we finally called RAH who apparently is in charge of the show but is all to happy to point fingers and not take any responsibility, and they let me pay an additional $50, bless their hearts, to upgrade to a different hotel. I must say, it ended well, the room was perfect and the view was beautiful, but it was just a hotel, nothing special, no customer service. It was all very corporate and capitalistic and I will never go back. I will never go through Royal American Hospitality Inc again and I will not be going back to Panama City Beach either. Do not stay at the Sunswept!!

The Sunswept Condiminiums is in the right location in Panama City. It is located on the beach. The room was comfortable and clean.

very nice stay. the staff was great!! we will stay there again!!

Everything about this hotel was fantastic. the location to the beach, shopping, clubs, resturants you name it, it was a hop skip & a jump away. The staff was very helpful with reomendations on things to do & see. I would & will stay there again.
