Thank you, Seahaven!!
This hotel is typical mom & pop 60's venue. At check-in, I wanted to change our reservations from standard to suite and the staff could not have been nicer. They worked with us to put us where the nosier residents would not bother us. They put us in the "Tower" and we loved it. The hotel was not the cleanest I have ever seen but it was clean enough to be healthy and there were no bed bugs. (We checked because there was a news story about said bugs before we left home.) I spent most of the time on the balcony with a cup of coffee in the morning and a glass of wine in the PM. We were five stories up and, since I felt secure, I kept the door open and went to sleep with the sound of the waves.

Short drive from hotel
We ate at Boondocks and it was wonderful. The food was delicious and service was great. It was Mother's Day and the staff presented the mothers with a lovely gerber daisy. They even matched my bloom to the color of my frock.

Pleased!
Our stay here was pretty good, clean rooms, friendly staff, easy beach access, parking was not a problem, my biggest complaint is that the Garbage Truck dumped the dumpster that was located 2 floors below our room at 5:12 am both mornings, which interrupted my sleep and scared my 4 year old to death, my suggestion would be to maybe have this done later on during the day or around 5 or 6 at night that way no one will be disturbed from their sleep while on vacation! :) otherwise this was a great place.

short family getaway
Hotel checkin was good. Room looked fine, though floors were nasty. You could walk three feet barefoot and your feet were black. Kitchenette was ok though would not use any of the items due to looking as though covered in grease and not ever being clean. Dared not touch stove for same reason. Fridge did not cool as it did not have good seal. Table was so wobbly afraid would fall apart while eating. They need to update the kitchen items or lease least make an effort to really do a through cleaning with soap, water and pine sol. Staff was friendly. Place could use a coat of paint. But would overall say was good trip but price for room with kitchen not worth it since could not really use it.

Worst Family Vacation Experience EVER!
First of all the room was nasty. I know it’s an old hotel but you could not walk around without something on your feet at all times & the room had a smell. Second; had a screaming child next door that seemed to want to start crying when it was bead time. Plus it was spring break and had all kinds of young kids screaming, yelling, drinking and being very disrespectful to all the other patrons that paid for rooms for same time frame. I think the hotel should have done something about the unruly guests but for 3 days nothing was done. It’s like the hotel got their money and they do not care that people’s vacations were ruined. Last but not least, for 3 days no one emptied the trash in my room, no toilet paper and no one came to did not give fresh towels. I will not recommend this hotel or affiliates with any of my friends or co-workers

seahaven beach hotel
The location of this hotel is ideal, it is directly on the beach and has a great view from every room. The room was average, but it was definitly a good deal because of the beach access and the room was a good size.

Nightmare!
We were in a kitchenette with no cookware. We had to ask for everything from forks to frying pan, skillet, can opener, and cookie sheet, which did not fit the oven. They do not provide blenders, so forget making your own daquiris. When I pulled back the sheets there were spots of blood on them. They comped us a dinner the first day at sharky's but the problems continued. The walls and kitchen cabinets had water damange. Paint peeling at ther ceiling and rust on metal screws ect. The furniture was old and table leg was about to fall off. The staff did not really care once they comped the dinner, and showed attitude. We asked for a refund to check out 2 days early, but were told it would be 15 days before they could refund our debit, so we were stuck there. The view was the best thing. Food was ok at sharky's. Come to find out the place next door, Legacy by the Sea was running a special and for the same $ we could have moved next door if they had given us back our $. It was bigger and much nicer. Don't stay here, save your $ and get a nicer place. This is mainly for college kids, not much they could make worse.

Not anyone's fault but the ocean was full of slimey green plankton at the beach that felt icky to get in the water and we saw small dead jellyfish wash up, the water was really warm like a bath, so I would opt for the overcroweded one small pool they have.
