the worst hotel of my life

I think that I We went with our three children, arrived and we realized that the hotel was horrible, completely old and neglected and in very bad taste. It really is too bad, the price is not related to quality. The only salvageable is that this well located, facing the sea. It says my wife We're on vacation for a month with Our Children In Different hotels, we Spent the weekend in Panama city, the hotel is horrible, sloppy, sheets, towels and pillows in disrepair, tacky decor, we Arrived at breakfast and There Was Nothing, The only thing salvageable is ITS location. There Is No Relationship Between price and quality.

This place is old and was a dump!

We checked into this hotel at 8Pm after a long air flight to Florida from Tucson, Arizona. We asked for a quiet room. We were placed 3 flights up in a corner room next to the elevator and wind tunnel which howled all night. We got little sleep and the place inside was old furnishing, towels that looked like you would use in garage work, and in general not clean, modern or uptodate. We checked out the next morning and went to a Marriot hotel where the service was a plus with clean room, linens etc. I will never teturn to the Paradise Palms and have already told several of our friends about this terrible experience. I selected it due to the write ups and photos on line which were very deceptive. [...]

Relaxation

Awsomness!!! At check-in we were upgraded without asking. Rooms were VERY BIG,clean, and smell free. We went during bike week and to my surprise it was QUIET! Staff was very helpful, when we asked for extra stuff for our room it was brought within 3 minutes. BOTH pools were great. Loved the HOT TUB and the waterfalls. The VIEW was BREATH TAKING. Floors were tiled..nice. The hotel had lovely views inside as well. Cant say enough GREAT stuff about this stay infact I'm booking my next trip for next month there already!!

Shopping tip: Short drive from hotel

The pier mall has shopping, dinning and entertainment for all. If you rent a scooter from the next scooter shop on the right after taking a left out of the hotel the drive is pleasent. NOTE that scooter shop is the cheapest I have found I can't remember the name.

Fun getaway

The waterfalls in the pool are beautiful. The Tiki Bar has a great view of the beach and makes awesome cocktails. The hotel decor is a little odd and outdated but that what makes it fun, it's kind of a mixture of nautical theme meets 70's vegas. There are plenty of restaurants within walking distant. I recommend a room above the third floor so you can enjoy the breathtaking sunsets.

Family Beach Trip 2010

This hotel had a prime location to be a wonderful spot for family vacations, but they are lacking in several areas which dampened our trip quite a bit. The rooms are small and very outdated, the beds are thin and old and uncomfortable. The decor is "ancient"... fixtures, bathrooms, lamps etc..all old and outdated. Towels supplied were thin and like rags. To have a fridge/mircrowave we discovered on check-in was an extra cost. The pool areas are great, if you can find a chair or a spot to sit. We asked for additional chairs that were stacked on a wall to be brought in and were turned down. I was truly disappointed in the lack of attention this facility has compared to what just a little attention could do for it.
