great location close to all the great places, beach , shopping , dinning , pool and spa deck on 4th floor great , great view ... also great view from sunrise and sunset decks on 15th floor , but hard to find , no signs to direct you to the decks , but once we found them they were great ,also need more signs in parking garage to elevators. All around great place I will stay here again , plus on off season the hotel offers a 3rd night FREE with 2 night stay.

Very close to the Shopping and entertainment at Pier Park which was very enjoyable. Staff at the Origin not warm, friendly, ... and very uninformitive about their properties and services. Not what I would expect out of a new and growing resort. View was nice, however, not on the beach, across the street from the beach. It was a studio room and not a 1 bedroom unit. Price was very good, but you get what you pay for as the old saying goes.

Very nice room - clean, attractive and comfortable. I was expecting a hotel room, not a condo. Therefore, I didn't like not ... having room service, no fresh linens without going to front desk, and no breakfast with room. There was no restaurant in building and very few in the area (off season, perhaps). They have a beautiful pool. Bldg. was across the street from Gulf. Did have nice view of water which we paid extra for, but it was a walk to the water. Probably would not stay there again.

I booked a 1 bedroom King gulf view suite at the Origins Seahaven for a weekend away. I was initially put into a non gulf ... view room which had a hideous view of swamp/parking lot. However, the room was beautiful. I told the front desk and they very quickly fixed the situation and put us in an even more beautiful room with a magnificent view of the beach. The furnishings are very modern. Although I didn't watch television while there I did have two to choose from. The 1br had a lovely fully stocked kitchen, washer and dryer, bar, dish washer, dining room table, huge bathroom and an incredibly comfortable bed. Thanks to off season pricing it was an absolute steal at half price. I plan to go back and would pay full price. The complaints: The room service menu is just food from Sharkies and it says it is available until midnight. Off season hours are actually quite shorter than that so don't expect to order after 10 pm. I set up an automated wake up call for 8 am and literally got the call at 9 am as I was leaving. I think the system is an hour off which could have been disastrous for us if we had not woken up on our own. There is wireless in room but the connection in our room was horrible unless we sat at the bar in the middle of the room. You simply should not have to find a magic spot to have solid wireless internet. Because it isn't implemented very well this could be a bad choice for someone who needs to work while visiting the hotel. The front desk would not call a cab for us. They only offered to give us a number. That was very odd compared to my past experiences with hotels. Even with the few complaints I would rate it well above most hotel experiences. It would be a wonderful place to bring the family for a week or two and save cash doing some of your own cooking in room with some privacy for the adults in the bedroom and a pull out sofa bed for the kiddos. We went as a couple and loved it.

Grab a cab or drive down to the restaurant Firefly (you can goggle the website pretty easily and see the menu) for wonderful cocktails and the best food at Panama City Beach. It isn't cheap but the prices are completely fair considering the quality and absolutely worth it for a romantic night out and truly excellent cuisine. Skip Sharkies across the street unless you're just having drinks. The atmosphere is fun for drinking but the food quality is too low for the cost.

We relaxed by the heated pool, enjoyed the sunsets sitting in the hot tub, walked on the beach and spent every morning ... sleeping late on the very thick mattress (the kind that you don't spill the wine on when you jump around on the other side of it, incredibly comfortable)!!

Upon check-in, the front desk clerk was very rude, which brought about an uneasy feeling. Once arriving to our room, it was a ... relief. The room had everything. The bathroom was very spacious, room was clean and nicely decorated, and the bed was very comfortable! Overall the room was great, the stay was great!

We spent our Fall Break at Origin at Seahaven. Our trip was perfect. Our room was very clean and we have a great view of ... the beautiful pool. We were right across the street from Sharky's where we enjoyed a great shrimp dinner. We can't wait for our next visit!

Coyote Ugly and Spinnackers are the popping place at night. Both blew my mind with live music and girls dancing on the bars. During the day don't go to a bar you go to the liqour stores and they have persnoal bars where for $7 dollars you get a 32 oz. drink with a triple shot and what ever mixer amazing.
