Origin at Seahaven

I will make this short and simple only stating the facts. The location of the place is awesome! In a more cleaner, calmer part of the beachfront ( if you know PCB, you know this place can get congested fast!). The area is perfect...walking distance from several good eats including sharkeys and all american diner (breakfast buffet). The beach is right across the street and is very nice and not too packed. The room was very clean and quiet. The only complaints i had were the staff ( a little rude) and the balcony is not your standard beach balcony (mine was inside the pool area basically looking directly at the other walls. The balcony issue is somewhat to be expected if you take a look at the pics of this place. All and all, I will return again next summer (im going to book the 2 br so I can get the front view of the beach). Considering the great price of this condo ($150-$180) and the fact that I love where this place is located, I will return. Hopefully the staff will become a little more friendly. Oh, and I should mention that I went on memorial day weekend 2011 and it was VERY BUSY, that being said, I think everything went as well as one could expect.

Concientious and courteous staff, convenient location and very quiet and orderly property. I would definitely book reservations here again!

The location is perfect, just walk across the street to the beach. The room was nice, clean and comfortable. View from the 12th floor (beach view) was gorgeous. The only thing the resort is lacking is a bar/restaurant, then the amenities would be 4.5/5 stars. There's a restaurant across the street (Sharky's) that you can eat at. Also stayed here in October 2008 and will consider staying here again.

The rooms are very nice and clean! and right across from sharkys ! the pool and hot tub were nice! and have a GREAT theater!

I was not aware of the extra charges that came with renting the room. Be aware that the room may cost $59.00, but there is a house cleaning fee which is 60.00 dollars and a nonrefundable damage waiver which is $20.00. After all those additional fees, it isn't such a great deal after all.

As we drove up to the condos we realize our "oceanview rooms are a view from across the street. Most condos and hotels on this street are on the beach side. Next big surprise is that in addition to the rate that I paid through Orbitz.com there was an additional $102.76 cleaning fee that is not mentioned anywhere during booking. Naturally with the condo not being on the beach sid eof the road and with the additional fee the value dropped dramatically. Once getting in the room the bathroom had a hole in the wall that had been patched but not painted. I will not stay here again.

Pleasantly surprised with the hotel. Beautiful rooms, pool, and view. Will definitly go again!

Although it rained the whole time we were in Panama City Beach, I can not fault the Origin's for this. The hotel was very clean as were the rooms. My only issue that I have with the hotel was the $100+ in additional non-refundable fees on top of the cost of the room (damage waiver, maid service, etc.).

Had a great time. Would stay again. Staff was very courteous and helpful. Nice clean rooms.

We went to Origins at Seahaven in September. The hotel was great and comfortable. The view from the balcony was perfect. The price of the room was reasonable and affordable, I would defiantly stay there again.
