Close to everything

I had an amazing time there. Our room was clean and we had everything we needed and the people that work there was nice and friendly. It was close to everything. The entire time we were there we were at club la vela every night. Which is within walking distance. I love the fact we right in the middle of everything. Lots of resturants, shopping centers and most of all the hottest clubs. Club la vela was amazing and so was spinnakers, and there food is great. I will be coming back to stay there again.

Okay

It was a pleasant trip. The location was great and the room was okay. I did not likepaying for maid services of $65/night and being told I had to take the trash out myself. The refridgerator was loud and kept me up most of the night. The extra fees were not worth the stay.

Great spot, bad rooms

The location of the condo is great. It has easy access to beach even though it's no beach front. the rooms need updating. the bed was awful. I've slept on better beds in a hurricane shelter. It just wasn't what I was expecting.

Time-saving tip: Short walk from hotel

Walk if you can during summer months. Too many people on road looking to at what's on side of road.

Good value, great location

Great location and great value. The pool was descent and right next to the inland lagoon but the trash can at the pool was never emptied our whole stay (Three days). Beach access was directly across Thomas drive and not to hard to find but it was something you had to figure out on your own since it wasn't in the handout they gave you upon arrival. The unit was clean and comfortable and the kitchen was acceptably equiped for meal preparation. Although the mattress in our bedroom was slap wore out and is in definite need of replacement. The staff was pretty much ambivalent and non existent are whole stay but then again we didn't need them for anything anyways. Super Walmart close by as well. Would probably stay again if the price was right.

Very dirty. . Hair on sheets. .

The room was filthy. . The floors were sticky and the sheets were dirty (complete with thick manly hair and all). Obviously the $70 extra at this *resort type facility* for a maid service was NOT put to good use. Furthermore, the room was not what was advertised. The room we reserved was supposed to have a murphy bed and 2 single beds. Instead, there was a double bed (which took up most of the space) and a single bed (located IN THE KITCHEN AREA) with a trundle bed underneath (there was no way to pull the trundle bed out without attempting to move the kitchen table thus rendering the kitchen space useless. . . Also, the mattresses were super thin - maybe better designed for camping or possibly several decades old. While trying to locate this place, we went a bit past it (a half mile or so) and turned around at Club la Vela - the largest night club in the universe (as advertised). I'm assuming this *Inn* is more suited as a quick place for party-goers to crash at than it is for families to enjoy a peaceful weekend on the beach (which also was a LOT farther than was advertised). We cancelled our reservation about and hour or so after we got there. It was just too filthy. The staff offered us another nicer room (for an additional fee of course), but it was still dirty and completely undesirable. We stayed at the Hampton Inn up the road at a cheaper rate, but for an immaculate room with a fridge and microwave, and also complete with thick mattresses and clean sheets. The pool was also conveniently located and CLEAN. . I don't think we were expecting too much of the Inn at St. Thomas. .I just think they advertised falsely and were filthy.

Drive to the Hampton Inn. Don't stay at the Inn at St. Thomas. It's not worth it.

Very Nice

Room was just the right size for our beach vacation. Full size refrigerator and decent oven. They had glasses and silverware and dishes. Almost beach-front, the gulf was just across the street behind some tall hotels (which are all up and down the beach). Enjoyed the stay!

Nice for couples

We were unable to sleep due to the lights coming in which made it look bright inside the rooms. We couldn't get comfortable with no sheets and really no blankets. It would have been nice but with teenagers I needed twin beds and on the beach. It took a long time to reach this place due to the traffic.
