So many problems
During my first three days of staying at the Holiday Inn in Panama City Beach, the water had stopped working for about 7 hours, our room never had hot water, the hot tub stopped working multiple times, the fire alarm went off in everyone's room on our floor, and the power went out for an hour or two. It was one of my worst experiences. I definitely will not be coming back to the Holiday Inn in Panama City Beach.

Don't be fooled by the false discount
While the hotel was great, I booked the hotel online to save money, or so I thought... I got to the hotel and had to pay $40 dollars at the front desk. This brought the price of the hotel back to the full price. I could have called the hotel and paid that price. Very disappointing.

Amazing
The most accomodating staff ever!! When I checked in I got two free drinks to the bar. The manager came to greet me and gave me his card if I had any issues (which also had his cellphone number on it incase he was off work during that time) I was suppose to check out at 11am but the extended the check out to 2:00. I then asked the front desk to hold my luggage until my cab came at 3:45 to take me to the airport and the front desk just let me stay in the room until 3:45. No issues what so ever! Best service ever and so many amazing amenities. Not to mention the hotel grounds are gorgeous!!!!

Unexpected Business travel
On a moments notice I had to travel to Panama City for work. I made my reservation in the parking lot as I was walking into the hotel and in less than 2 minutes the reservation was already processed when I got to the counter. Very easy check in, great price with a very courteous staff. (they even gave me 2 free drink coupons at their pool side bar) Great Gulf view and after seeing their pool and splash park for the kids, I will be going back with the family for vacation in the Spring! The bed was very comfortable and the room was clean! The only thumbs down I will give is the WiFi was slow and it made getting some work done hard.

Great for families
My son and I really enjoyed our stay at the Holiday Inn Resort. They always had things going on. Even though my son was 16 for example one night they put up a huge movie scene and showed Finding Nemo. That night it was for the youner kids next night it was keroke. I just really enjoyed myself. My best thing I had to eat was at the grill by the pool and it was the mahi sandwich. Best thing!

Excellent in every way!
I was amazed! I loved the room! The view was wonderful! We arrived prior to the 4 o'clock check in time, and we were told that the hotel would call us when the room was available. We went and ate, but the call never came. At 4:30, I returned to discover that there had been a shift change, and the "new" receptionist had NO IDEA we had arrived, or that we had been awaiting their call. We were compensated with 2 free cocktails, poolside, and an upgrade to the 9th floor. I forgive them, and I will POSITIVELY stay again!

Short drive from hotel
Sharkey's restaurant isn't heavily advertised, but they have great GREAT food! Look for them on Front Beach, out near the mall, and GO HUNGRY! Good thing the Holiday Inn Resort had a full size fridge in the room! We all had leftovers!
