Friendly, clean and quiet

I was greeted with a friendly smile and welcome. The room was clean and the breakfast room was well stocked - even had a pancake maker! The hotel is kind of hidden behind the Waffle House and CVS, but the location had access to the main highways. I would stay there again.

Family Getaway

The experience was great! There was an outside pool and hot tub which were great for my family! The breakfast was fantastic with many options! The rooms were very clean and comfortable. There is not a ton to do in this town, but Panama City Beach is just a 40 minute drive west.

Entertainment tip: Short drive from hotel

Head east on 98 and turn left at light to continue on 98. Shortly after you will see a mexican restaurant on the left and a small road before it. Turn down the road and go just past the mexican restaurant and on the right there will be a scrap yard where there are literally 200 goats that you can feed (a local family owns them as pets I guess so dont worry, its free!). Make sure to take a couple loaves of bread because they love it!! If you stay on 98 and dont turn to see the goats then continue for another mile or so and there is a GREAT park near the bay called Under the Oaks Park. These are both about 10 minutes from the hotel and are a blast with the family!

So-So

Counter person was rude, indifferent and callous to our queries about upgrading our room. We would dhave been glad to pay for a suite, but were so put off by the counter-person, we reconsidered.

Best value

Overall it was a good place to stay, but it was too far from the beach and the neighborhood was not the best.
