Visit with friends
Had a wonderful visit with friends and the restaurant staff were excellent...front desk was ok....the time-share is very old and not as clean as we would like...was disappointed we couldn't get the internet in our room...had to go to the restaurant or the front desk area....needs a lot of updating

fantastic room with great view &price
the maverick was very clean and my room was ready way before check in. we went to the area for the july race in daytona knowing we wanted to also enjoy the beach. we spent three days there at the same cost as a dirty motel off 95.the restaurant was also inexpensive the food was great with generous helpings. we will definitly return!

No complaints, really
Our second Thanksgiving trip in a row at this hotel. Price was a little more than we wanted to spend, but it's getting impossible to find ANYPLACE that will take a 1-night reservation in Ormond Beach on Thanksgiving weekend. We briefly considered staying at a cheaper place off the ocean, but the reviews were mixed and since we stayed at the Maverick in 2008, we knew what to expect and were not disappointed. Everything else was good. Clean, comfortable room with LOTS of towels. Warning: bring your hair dryer, there's none here for you. Breakfast at the restaurant was very good, they were a little understaffed but the waitresses did well in spite of that. We'll be back next year unless someplace new offers a better price with really good reviews.

Ormond beach trip
We were there for Biketoberfest. Great location on the beach. Very cozy room, comfy bed. I really had no complaints for the money we paid for the room [...] we had a very good experience at the Maverick and we will return!

Nice older hotel
We enjoyed our stay at The Maverick very much. The location of the hotel was excellent, the pool was great, the room was very nice and clean. For the money it was very good. This is an older hotel that has been refurbished, and used mainly as a time share. Many attractions nearby, and many good places to eat at a reasonable price. And of course the beach was very enjoyable, as was the hot tub. I would absolutely stay here again.
