Royal Floridian Resort

Beautiful resort with a large indoor and outdoor pool and spa with shuffle board, basketball and a 9 hole mini golf course. The only thing I didn't enjoy was the bed which was rather hard.

Room had a great view and was very clean. Alot of things to do if you wanted. Great location.

We booked a 1br 1 ba effeciency but was given a one room studio. At the front dest we were told that the booking agent advertized the accomidation incorrectly. The size made less difference than the VERY loud air conditioner. The lack of a separate bedroom made it impossible to close the door to shut out the AC noise to try to sleep.

We stayed here for 10 days and had a fantastic time. The suite was spotless and much bigger than i expected. The staff were polite and friendly and the amenities were brilliant. The resort is close to several eateries and shops etc. I would definitely recommend to anyone thinking of visiting this area to stay at the Royal Floridian

I arrived to find petroleum Jelly on the bed and a Fridge that wouldn't get cold. I waited 6 hours to report the issue and the maintenance man told me that I didnt wait long enough for it to get cold. The GE Fridge was less than 3 feet and our food went bad. I wake up the next day to find out that the toilet was over flowing and the same guy tells me its no big deal that he would fix it the following day. He never returned. I took my towels to the front desk to get some that didn't have toilet water on them just to find out that coffee was 2.00 if I wanted to make a pot. If that wasn't bad enough I get a call during my sleep that there is an exciting Opportunity that pays 100.00 if I take a 60 minute tour of their new building. I guess I cant count because 4 hours later two guys are trying to talk us into making a 10k decision that day. I was going to stay another night but I promptly packed my bags and left. The view was nice but I get better service at Holiday Inn and I dont have to beg for coffee. Dont worry if you have a complaint three people will listen to you and just say thanks for sharing. I recommend this to people who dont mind waiting 20 mins in the heat to ride the elevator. If you think the indoor pool is nice wait till you open the door and the chlorine makes your eyes bleed. I wish I had more thumbs so I could give them 4 thumbs down. What a disappointment.

Room and view were very good ,, lots of things to do.

The Royal Floridian had it all, great staff, great activities for the kids and the grown ups, and the room was very clean. This was the first time our family stayed here and we will be back.

The rooms are a bit out dated. The jet tub did not work. The sink and 2nd bathroom was clogged most of the time. There is no maid service....no one comes in and cleans your room, gives you clean towels or makes your bed (as you should expect from a resort). You are required to clean your room before you leave. The grills they provided were all out of propane. Just a horrible experience, will not go back.

The place was nice and clean. The staff was accommodating. Loved the location of the hotel. Can't wait to stay again.

All rooms overlook the ocean. Very clean and we liked the tile floors throughout. The kitchen was well furnished with everything we needed to cook meals. Only drawback was the balcony was very small. Overall we had a very relaxing time.
