Although the rates were excellent, the quality of the rooms was not to Wyndham standards that I am accustomed to. The rooms ... are bright and pretty but the bathrooms are old and the shower water did not transfer properly from tub to shower. The room smelled very much of chlorine when we first walked in. That was bizarre. The bathroom is too old and the cosmetic make over does not cut it. The walls need paint retouched and some of the door mouldings in the bathroom were rusted through. I did not walk on the bathroom floor barefoot for it was gross. Beds very comfy and pillows too.

I chose Wyndham for it's location--International Drive, 5 min. from Universal Studios. There are also plenty of restaurants ... and attractions within walking distance. The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were exceptionally clean (I have very high standards)and spacious. Pools were lovely as was the landscaping. I would love to go back just for a retreat!

Not a 4 Star Hotel

I was told [...] that the 4 star hotel I was booking with a DELUXE room had free 1) wi-fi; 2) pool and 3) 2 queen beds. This ... was NOT a 4 star hotel!1) The wi-fi was NOT free in fact it was $9.95 per day and they did not have free ethernet cords.2) The beds were full beds not queen beds.3) The bathtub was cracked and the caulking around the bathtub was black with mold4) The walls were paper thin - again not a 4 star hotel 5) There were no DELUXE rooms only standard6) I was told all charges were included in my [...] charge. I was then charged $7.95 per day for a "resort charge". I would like this credited to my credit card and either at least one night credited back to my credit card or two nights credit for a future hotel reservation.

Staff treated us well. There were no amenities. That was very irritating because we threw out food that could have been ... refrigerated and eaten. The dresser drawers smelled like they had been in a flood. They smelled moldy, even my son asked why they smelled so bad. I will take my chances and check out a hotel when I arrive in a city.

It was close to most everything I needed, food, shopping, entertainment, etc. The grounds were immaculate, and the ... hospitality warm and personable. I especially liked the fact that young (emphasis on young)professional men were at the front desk-different, but so-ooo-ooo nice.!! Did I forget to mention-they were GOOD looking. The hotel was definitely big bang for small bucks. I will definitely recommend to others, and my family will be returning with me next time.

Eating at the hotel is a plus. You don't have to go anywhere else unless you just want to leave the grounds. Excellent dining!!

by booking with [...] I was unable to get a discounton my triple AAA card to get the room at a lower price.another member ... paid a much lower price for the same size room @$59.00 and I paid 89.00 that's a large diffrence to pay so in the future I will look before I rebook with [...] again .thank you

The room was small with a double bed and the bathroonm door would swing shut. There was a very pronounced odor of Mildew ... through out the room. It was clean but no face cloths were provided had to call to get them. Location was on the second floor and there was no elevator. I had to drag my suitcases up stairs. Service was excellent as I was given help to receive my boarding pass by lobyist.

Well.. my room had an awsome view but a lot of maintance issues.. My ac blew up oil all over my patio and I had to be moved 3 ... different rooms.. They were dirty.. Also the music didnt work at any of the pools .. Maintance said there is an electrical issues. My room was not very clean .. The staff though was very nice and friendly.

The rooms were very old and smelly. Moldy smelling. I have never stayed in a hotel room that I was that uncomfortable in. I ... was so disappointed. The air conditioner unit was so loud I had to walk to Walgreen's at 1:30 am because I was in desperate need of sleep after traveling. After a busy day in classes all day, I want to be pampered by my room and feel peaceful. I was too busy looking for bugs and something to crawl in the gap under the door. That hotel needs a major rehab. I would love the staff to be at a 5 star hotel because the were very accommodating. But it was out of their hands.

The grounds were great and it was a nice location, however, the bedrooms were outdated and lugging suitcases and all the kids ... stuff up the stairs was not so fun. Also parking was difficult.

I visited Orlando to preview a school I plan to attend.My sheets were soiled,and were not changed for 5 days.I also observed ... a housekeeper rinsing a drinking glass with hot water, and not properly disinfecting the glass. On 2 separate instances they also neglected to remove my dirty towels from the bathroom during their daily rounds.I also had a difficult time finding the lobby upon my arrival.This was do to poorly marked directions on the grounds themselves.

Enjoyable dining experiences at Kobi Japanese restaurant,BB King's Blues Cafe was excellent(both the food and service were excellent, as well as the extra-ordinary entertainment there.) There also was a Walgreen's Pharmacy right across the street.UNO Chicago-style Bar also had very exclusively exquisite food, as well as outstanding service.I would not recomend the Perkins restaurant across the street from the Wyndom Resort either.The food was of poor quality, and the service in the later evening was slow and unattentive to my needs, as well as to some of the other customers that I observed.I also had great service at the tourist information center across the street from the Wyndom Resort.

We had a nice time we wish the room was a little bigger, but other wise there was a great man at customer Realtions Named ... Gary who sent us up some wine and fruit because he had heard my husband incur a speeding ticket while trying to reach the bus to go to logan to catch our plane to orlando, which kinda started our trip off wrong. This was a 40 Birthday Trip For my husband. We ended up having a good time. The only other thing was we asked for a wake up call and and daylight savings time had happened the night before. The called us an hour early which kinda sucked. But all in all we had a pleasant time.

We had a great time,while we were in Orlando! We were on our Honeymoon and took a trip to Seaworld and Aquatica, we also ... checked out Ripley's Believe it or not which is right next door to the resort. And there is a fantastic resturant across the street called Fishbones (be prepared its expensive)the food was awsome!

The hotel is very nice, they upgraded us to a better room but we thought it was just average. No bar fridge in room for cold ... food storage or ice, bathroom very small and average. Would only class a 3 star Hotel but grounds and pools were beautiful.

Cabs were biggest expense. 50 dollars with tip included from airport to hotel and another 50 dollars to get back at end of trip (8miles) Universal 1.5 miles away was 25 dollars round trip. I think it is overpriced. Meet another couple and split the fares.

The Mall at Millenia (very high end shopping) and the PREMIUM OUTLETS (outdoor fun/family atmosphere) were great for shopping. I happened to be there the weekend that Michael Jackson died. The Premium outlets had all of Michael Jackson's songs playing (subtly) in the background. Very nice tribute to an American Icon.
