Friend getaway
Overall this hotel was really nice and it was in the perfect locaton. If I plan another trip to Orlando Florida I will check out Wingate again.

Not good
I stayed for 2 days and there was no water on the entire building. No vending machine on the entire hotel. Some of the staff was not friendly. I was expecting much more.

Close to universal
The hotel was super close to Universal and not that far away from Disney. Breakfast was good enough for the money, better than other hotels that include free breakfast. The room was big but wasn't thoroughly clean. Nothing major though. Would come back.

universal studios get away
hotel and rooms were very clean.the breakfast was alright you can't beat fresh waffles.the best part about this hotel was the shuttle service to and from the hotel to universal studio as well as the city walk.my friends and i had a great time at universal studios and will definatly stay there again.

Good hotel for the money
My friend and i stayed there while in Orlando to visit Universal studios. Our stay was pleasant and like you would find at any hotel and was a good deal. The only thing that bothered me was that the maids would come in to replace towels and clean. The didn't replace all the dirty towels with clean ones, the hand towel had the same bbq sause mark on it the ENTIRE stay. It made me wonder what else might not be as clean as we think...

Pleasantly pleased
We were pleased with the free breakfast that we were entitled to each morning. It wasn't your typical continental breakfast. They had eggs each day. Then throughout the stay there was always something like ham, hashbrowns, or sausage. There were two waffle makers set up, so you could eat that instead. Of course, they had fruit, danishes, and bread to make toast. It saved us from having to pay for another meal on vacation.

The location is accessible
The location of the hotel is accessible to different points of interest. There are lots of restaurants and fast food stores within the area. However, they should change the menu for breakfast. I stayed in the hotel for 4 days but for 3 consecutive days, they served the same breakfast. Lastly, one of the staff in the front desk, a male, I think the manager was not that friendly.

weekend getaway
Very nice hotel with friendly staff. Location is great if your going to universal or sea world. Free wifi, parking, and you can purchase tickets for parks in the lobby.
