Comfortable studios and grand villas in Orlando by major attractions
Families will find a bounty of activities at Lakes Resort & Spa by Westgate Resorts, a lakefront resort just a few miles from Walt Disney World. Several heated outdoor pools and a spa only skims the surface. Multiple amenities exist, like a kid's club for children ages 2 to 12, kayak, paddle boat and fishing pole rentals and three restaurants. Not to leave theme parks out of the equation, the resort provides free scheduled shuttles to Walt Disney World Resort, Universal Orlando Resort, SeaWorld Orlando and Prime Outlets Orlando.

Westgate Lakes Resort & Spa Review
It was a great accomodation for the price. The Lake view from the sixth floor is just great !! Pretty big size-room with decent facilities. The Spa could have been a bit cleaner.

Good for the Money
Overall, the experience was good. The children enjoyed the spacious pool. Hot tub was nice also!

Large and impressive
The hotel was actually a huge resort with many buildings each with its own pool, baby pool and jacuzzi. we expected our room to have a kitchenette but it also had a full size jacuzzi, and a great lanai that was screened in. We had asked for a crib which was delivered as we drove up to the room. Overall, great experience, especially for $60 per night. Also was 10 min from disney and maybe under 5 min to seaworld.

Orlando vacation
The spa service was wonderful. The pool area had a great bar/refreshments and was great to have a hot tub and toddler area. I liked that you could rent a bike, but was not happy to find out you could not take it out of the resort area. We should be allowed to get a chain an lock, so I did not bother. Lake activities end too early, so I was never able to rent a pantoon and there is no place to go fishing but is mentioned that you can. You have to rent a pantoon but they close at 6:00pm. What is the point!!! When you go to Orlando, you do a lot of parks, sights seeing and there is no help at all to get you anywhere. The location is great because you are not to far from the main areas but if you have no car you are screwed. The restaurant and the room was great. To make it more affordable I would have rather done an inclusive package. I hatted not being able to get to a computer to look at my email. I was not going to Pay $5 each time I wanted to use it. So the hotel overall was good but it also had some things that really was not friendly unless you were an owner.

very nice
staff was great, but the pictures on shown on here were of the hotel, but not what we were getting. the room was extremely small compared to what we were expecting. realistically very nice for the price.

great location, fantastic place to stay
we enjoy our rooms that had very nice view from the window and we had our own refrigeretor and microwave. we also enjoy in the swimming pool

Had a wonderful time although wireless wasnt up & running...My purpose of the trip was to have quiet while I completed my work...but couldnt due to0 no wireless internet
