Comfortable studios and grand villas in Orlando by major attractions
Families will find a bounty of activities at Lakes Resort & Spa by Westgate Resorts, a lakefront resort just a few miles from Walt Disney World. Several heated outdoor pools and a spa only skims the surface. Multiple amenities exist, like a kid's club for children ages 2 to 12, kayak, paddle boat and fishing pole rentals and three restaurants. Not to leave theme parks out of the equation, the resort provides free scheduled shuttles to Walt Disney World Resort, Universal Orlando Resort, SeaWorld Orlando and Prime Outlets Orlando.

Great stay
This was a very nice place. Unfortunately we only stould there one night, on our way out from our vacation. We stood at one of the Disney resort for a week, which was ok. But, when we got to the Westgate Lake resort, I was kinda bummed because it was really nice and we were only staying the night. The room was very clean, comfortable bed, the view of the lake from our patio was great. The only complaint I have is the noise. The people next door were loud all night. The good thing was we were so exausted from our week in Disney world and universal studios that we slept through most of the noise. Anyways this place was great. I would definately stay there again.

good location
Nice rooms and clean. Friendly staff and very helpful. Great location for Orlando attractions. A bit noisy around the Hotel..and pool closes too late(11pm). We stayed on the pool side and there were kids still in the pool at 11pm.

i liked the room very much it was a great size and had alot of purks, meaning huge shower plus jacuzzi tub, kitchenette. very comfortable, i also liked the furnished patio, i would definitly stay there again.

Westgate Lakes Resort
The hotel was a great place to relax and vacation, we especially enjoyed the screened in porch. There were people everywhere which was unnerving at times, and I did not appreciate having to pay for internet service. You would think that this would be free like in other hotels, but I guess that's Orlando!

The Florida Mall was only five miles away on Sand Lake Road. We went there several times and enjoyed the shops there.

the resort had alot to offer, conveniently located and marvalous rooms. I was shock that room service took the liberty of changing the bed sheets but did bother to clean any other part of the room, like the tube or simply sweep the floor. SmokeHouse has bad service when they deliver to the room. The food was cold and not worth the cost. I think the resort need to invest in other food services. The deli ran short of food at 2:30pm.

"Fantastic family getaway"
This resort was located right down the street from all the attractions, especially Sea World. We had a great time, the people and resort was very nice and clean.

cant beat westgate
My girlfriend and I make a trip to orlando as often as possible (typically twice a year from Ct). This time we were just passing through. We stay at the many Westgate resorts everytime because you can't beat what you get for the money. Rooms that have as much in size and amenities as the ones at the Westgates are typically twice what Westgate charges. I can't recommend them enough.

celebrating husband's 50th birthday
my family and I was there to celebrate my husband's 50th birthday and he said he really liked the room and the location as well as the overall appearance of everything and would have loved to have stayed more nights there. Will we go back? yes we will and real soon.
