Universal's Loews Royal Pacific Resort

From the moment we arrived, we were greeted like VIP's. Everyone is helpful, friendly, accommodating...

The minute we pulled up we were treated like royalty. Staff was friendly, room service was great. The best part was using the room key as an express pass for the rides. We avoided long lines and parking fees and hassles by taking the water taxi. Poolside service was a little slow but everything else was above expectation. This will be our Orlando hotel pick moving forward.

Very nice hotel. Fast pass and early entry into the park were great. My 11 year old liked the pool and particiapted in the games.

We have stayed here on several occasions and every time is fantastic! Emeril's Tchoup Chop restaurant located in the hotel is excellent. Within minutes walking distance from Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure, and CityWalk. Use your room key as your FastPass.

A couple of days in Pacific paradise! Room & pool time were great and you couldn't beat the location for easy Universal access. No need for the food at City Walk because the menu at the pool was comparable and cheaper. Save your $ and eat at the hotel. The convenience to the park is unbeatable and who doesn't love a boat ride at the end of a long day in the park. Can't wait to return!

I highly recommend this hotel. Our room was very clean and was serviced beautifully everyday. Restaurants in hotel and pool area very good. Portions are big enough to share. I really loved the fact I could take the Mears shuttle from the airport to the hotel and then take the hotel water taxi anytime I needed it to the attractions at Universal Orlando. The hotels room key is your fast pass at all the rides at Universal and we use it everytime. It saved us hour waits in regular line. Dont think twice about this hotel, I am ready to go back!!!

Rooms and hotel in general are spotless. All staff are extremely pleasant and polite. My 10 year old loved the game rooom and my husband and nephew used the work out room which was state of the art. The pool is large enough for everyone and movie night poolside is a big hit with the whole family (including free popcorn). The morning breakfast at the hotel restaurant is better than any you will find. The boat ride to the parks is very pleasant and rarely crowded. If you hit a busy time the walk along the water is quick and beautiful. Don't miss the luau - it is quite expensive but very entertaining with great food. I have stayed here twice (two years apart) and each time is better.

This was our first time to stay at the Royal Pacific and found the hotel service to be excellent. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room we stayed in was the standard room (2 double beds and a rollaway bed but this caused the room to be a bit cramped). However, the express pass that comes with your room key and being able to have early access to the theme parks (Harry Potter) easily compensated for this. Some of the reviews we read of the hotel previously said the restaurants in the hotel were expensive, however we found them to be excellent and good value. The hotel charge for the internet but we felt that internet access should be complimentary. Location of hotel is excellent to parks where you can easily walk to or get free water taxi shuttle. Pool is open until 11pm and great to return to after a busy day in parks. Our kids really enjoyed watching a movie while in the pool which was on every night at 8.30 p.m. It was also great to get free pool towels. Another nice touch was kids got free ice pops up to 5.00 p.m. every day. Overall, we had a great stay and would definitely return to this hotel.

Great location, nice rooms, wonderful discounts that came along with the resort stay, fun pool. All around good time.

This hotel must be seen to be believed! Everything about the hotel and grounds are breathtakingly beautiful. The rooms are spotlessly clean and roomy. The beds are great. There is complimentary coffee, tea and hot chocolate in each room. The staff are warm, friendly and very helpful. The pool and 2 sandy beaches make you feel like you're in the tropics. There are 5 restaurants and multiple bars, 2 shops, a very nice gym, a dog park, child friendly areas, a luau grove, volley ball net (on one of the sandy beaches) and a croquet section. There are activites every day. There are Lincoln Town cars with drivers available all the time at the hotel for only $2-$3 more than a taxi. The part I loved and used the most was the River Boat taxi that travels to Universal and the City Walk and back all day long. This is a free service along with the fact that your room key doubles as a Express Pass at Universal. This gives you entrance to the park with Harry Potter Wizarding World 1 hour before it's open to the public and you have an express entrance to the attractions at both parks...no long lines! While the rooms are non-smoking there are so many designated smoking areas that as a smoker I had plenty of pleasant areas to smoke.
