1st visit w/Russian friends to Universal properties
The Royal Pacific Resort was excellent! This was a terrific choice for us based on ages 58-73, and budget (under $1,000 each for 3 day stay & 2 travel days.) We were within the park as requested so water taxi, shuttle & peddy-cabs were available. We stayed on the Club Floor with four food services each day including dinner (what they called snacks), free wine & beer, personal concierge services, Express Passes to rides, nice pool, splendid orchids everywhere. Two flew from DC and one from NC and arrangements were made for a shuttle round trip from airport in Orlando. All vouchers and plans were just as your fine representative described, I wish I knew her full name so she can be commended. Thanks, Karen Ciener (I did speak to her supervisor to compliment her)

Perfect place for couples and family alike!
I've stayed at every worthy resort in Orlando and Loews Royal Pacific is our resort of choice. The amenities are second to none, staff is extremely courteous, and its proximity is central to all of Orlando's theme parks. Couples and familes alike will nothing less than fun, which is what an "Orlando Vacation" is all about.

Weekend Getaway
Hotel Staff can't be beat. They were extremely helpful, and went out of their way to accomodate . The rooms,. however, need a bit of updating. They were clean and neat, but there is only so much one can do to an outdated bathroom. Walking to the park was wonderful and taking the available "bike shuttle" for just a tip to the driver was a welcome perk..Loved it and the drivers were great. I would recommend this hotel for a nice family vacation.

Loved it!
Stayed here with my husband for a 4 day birthday getaway. Every member of staff from the great guy who checked us in to the cleaning staff to the pool wait staff treated us like gold. Everyone was very friendly, had useful advice for visiting Universal parks and Disney. Swim up movie was lots of fun. Hotel was quit and bed was very comfortable. Best nights sleep I ever had at a hotel. One night we were exhausted from a day at the parks and enjoying the pool and really wanted sushi. We asked the pool wait staff if we could order sushi from a restaurant at the hotel not connected to the pool and add it to our tab at the pool. The sever made it happen, walked down to the restaurant to get a menu, placed the order for us and picked up the food. We never had to leave the pool! The front of line express pass made the cost of the hotel worth it for the Harry Potter experience alone and getting in an hour early to the park was great. The ambiance of the hotel was lovely. Loved the 40's jazz music playing by the fountains outside. Food was pricy but very tasty. We were treated like 5 star resort guests. Hotel pass also got us priority seating at restaurants in city walk. I was scared at first reading the reviews before going that this was the kids hotel and might be noisy but this was not the case at all. We had a great trip and will be staying here again.

Average Hotel Experience
Pros: 1. Pleasant check in 2. Good cleaning staff 3. Pretty hotel 4. Walking distance from city walk and universal theme parks, also a water taxi is provided for free 5. Nice pool with free entertainment including a torch lighting ceremony and movie night. Cons: 1. Food is horrible. Limited menus and cheap food. The nachos served in the hotel have cheese sauce on them instead of real cheese but are 15 dollars. 2. To use the gym with a couple treadmills and weights in it is an extra 10 dollars a day. 3. To use wifi it is an extra 10 dollars a day.

Money-saving tip:
Short walk from hotel
There are a lot of happy hours provided along city walk which is close to the hotel. Pay attention to the happy hour times so you spend 30 dollars on drinks instead of 80. The happy hours are pretty much offered back to back at different locations from 2 until 11.

Great Family Hotel!
We have been coming to this hotel for over seven years now. It is our favorite for the dollar and can't be beat it's location to the parks. The hotel offers good dining and fun activities for the kids no matter what age. My son has basically grown up here. The hotel staff are all friendly and helpful.

MEN IN BLACK at Universal Studios is the best ride for those who are not roller coaster fans. You can spend the entire day in this amazing ride. Keep at it... your score will continually improve. HINT: Don't forget to look up when shooting the aliens! Ask the agents! They are extremely helpful and nice!
