Splendid Service and Beautiful

The early park entry and Express Pass alone made the hotel worthwhile. In addition to that, the hotel looks very beautiful and has a stunning lobby. Every employee was extremely friendly and helpful. The pool is also huge, and looked very kid friendly.

Can't beat the location!

The Lowes Royal Pacific hotel is a solid place to stay. My first impressions were that it is well-decorated in the lobby, and that the front-desk staff were extremely helpful. I was more than thrilled to see a Keruig "K Cup" coffee machine in the room - the first time I have stayed in a hotel and had such an amenity! The room was on the smaller side but very comfortable. It had an iHome iPod dock on the nightstand which we used frequently and a flat screen TV. One thing that was an extreme negative however was the noise!! Every morning around 6:15 AM, the noise would start, inevitably waking us up many times throughout the course of the morning. Our room was not located near the elevator (although not extremely far away) but still we were woken up by people who (I assume) were waking up to make it to the early opening of the Wizarding World of Harry Potter at 7 AM. The housekeeping staff would start somewhere between 7 and 8 AM which I found incredibly early. You could hear the showers and sinks running in other rooms. Despite the noise, which was a major negative during our vacation, the Lowes Royal Pacific was a good hotel to stay in. It is located just a 7 minute walk from the parks which is unbelievable. The location allows you to go home and change before dinner or take a break from the park before going back.

Pre- Christmas Vacation to Universal

Our Orlando trip was perfect. Loews Royal Pacific exceeded our expectations. The package was a bargain. The hotel was pretty, well maintained, clean and convenient to Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure and Citywalk. The boat trip from the hotel was less than 10 minutes and the boat ran frequently. The walk to the parks was also about 10 minutes. Hotel guests receive free express passes to the Universal parks and entry into Islands of Adventure an hour before it opens to the general public. The period between Thanksgiving and Christmas is the perfect time to go. The parks were empty and we rode every ride and attractions as often as we wanted with no more than a 5 minute wait, so at this time period the express pass feature wan't really necessary. We ate at Emeril's Tschop Choup restaurant and at the Islands restuarant, both on premises. They were both almost empty and the food was quite good. Prices were not cheap but not as expensive as what we are acustomed to paying in NYC. The staff at the hotel were all helpful and pleasant and always greeted us with "Aloha" in keeping with the Pacific Island theme of the hotel. The Christmas trees, gingerbread houses and other holiday decorations in the hotel lobby and lower level were also very nice. The rooms are not large but were more than adequate.

Great all around experience

Pros- very affordable, very clean, hospitable staff, close walk to theme parks and city walk, beautiful well manicured grounds with a nice pool, early park entry!, wifi access for free in lobby, big and comfortable beds, access to exercise room, 1.3 mile walk to Walgreens and liquor store for treats. Cons- extra costs for a microwave or small fridge and room wifi was kinda nickel and dime. Corporate meeting place (If you're the type of person that doesn't pay mind to your surroundings this may not bother you. I am on vacation to enjoy a sunny, stressfree beautiful experience and get away from work). Overall, I truly enjoyed my stay and would definitely return.

Island Paradise

This hotel must be seen to be believed! Everything about the hotel and grounds are breathtakingly beautiful. The rooms are spotlessly clean and roomy. The beds are great. There is complimentary coffee, tea and hot chocolate in each room. The staff are warm, friendly and very helpful. The pool and 2 sandy beaches make you feel like you're in the tropics. There are 5 restaurants and multiple bars, 2 shops, a very nice gym, a dog park, child friendly areas, a luau grove, volley ball net (on one of the sandy beaches) and a croquet section. There are activites every day. There are Lincoln Town cars with drivers available all the time at the hotel for only $2-$3 more than a taxi. The part I loved and used the most was the River Boat taxi that travels to Universal and the City Walk and back all day long. This is a free service along with the fact that your room key doubles as a Express Pass at Universal. This gives you entrance to the park with Harry Potter Wizarding World 1 hour before it's open to the public and you have an express entrance to the attractions at both parks...no long lines! While the rooms are non-smoking there are so many designated smoking areas that as a smoker I had plenty of pleasant areas to smoke.

Ideal for Universal Studios

The Hotel itself is very nice, definetly feel like your in a tropical island. I wouldnt eat at the hotel if you have the option, food is way overpriced! My simple breakfast for 2 people was about 30 dollars....The food was good, however cant say the same for the dinner I had.

First vacation EVER!

It was a fantastic hotel and it was so close to the park. It made life easier for me and my fiance to explore the park and the city walk venue. It is a little pricey but it was worth it to be close especially since august is raining season and it was convenient to come and go quickly.
