Universal's Hard Rock Hotel

we stayed here because we wanted to be close to universal,the best decision we made because of fast passes.

We arrived and were greeted by a pretty young girl at the front desk. The room we were given wasnt great at all but we went down to the front desk and asked for a better view, we got a spectucular view of the pool and Universal Parks.The location is great, as you can walk to City Walk, Universal Studios and Island of Adventure. The only time we needed a cab was to go to Disney but you have everything you need in walking or even a water taxi which is great when its nice out. Highly recommended.

Reservations were easy, the room was comfortable, the water shuttle to Universal were right outside the door, the valet staff were responsive and a pleasure to work with, the concierge was helpful and friendly. The only downside was a rude clerk in the Hardrock gift shop. Overall very good stay.

This experience at Hard Rock was just perfect. We all enjoyed the sevice, the awesome music flitering thru every part of the hotel, the live entertainment at the poolside, the conversational valet staff, the bicycle carts and boat rides, the 2 for 95 lobster dinners. Gosh the closeness of the parks and the early on-site guest hours were a great benefit. The room key as the Express pass was a tremendous benefit and saving. I stayed at this hotel four times prior but this stay was just the best. I did miss my GPS unit from the car and it was taken very seriously. However, it was my fault and it turned out that I had packed it in error in my luggage. I doubted myself cause that was just not in sync with the great teamwork that exists there. My humble apologise. Rock on 'Hard Rock' "take is easy"

we love this hotel! perfect for families - the only complaint is the pizza by the pool - so bad! but all other food was fantastic!

Great hotel and the front of the line room cards are great too! But with prices already sky high at the hotel and Universal, being charged for internet and parking, and the gym are too much! Almost twenty bucks for breakfast per person?? The rooms are attractive and the Keurig coffee maker really was a nice touch! Two sinks help getting ready in the morning. Eating in the park for 5 people cost us eighty bucks! Ouch! Bring lots of money!

Great experience, fun hotel with fantastice poolside service! Easy walk to the parks! The only issue we had was that they included a 20% gratuity to everything already and we did not know and were not told til our last night at the hotel! So- loads of extra cash went out for tips before we realized! (One of the workers told us on our last night.) Also as a Hard Rock Hotel VIP member we never received ANY special accomodations that were promised from membership-- they said they really don't honor the VIP status card there..That's why it didn't get a 5 star rating for us...

The hotel has overcharged me by $1,200 that [...] should have paid them. Knowing how the system typically works, it will take weeks to figure out what went wrong and then it will be months before I get a refund.

This is a large, but very average hotel. The only thing that makes it stand apart from others is the fact it has a Hard Rock T-Shirt shop in the lobby. There are one set of elevators in a very spread out hotel so bring your walking shoes. Figure on $100 for breakfast of a party of five adults. All that said, it was walking distance to the theme park at Universal and City Walk.

This was the first time we have stayed at a resort hotel on site for any of the Orlando attractions. It was definitely worth it. The accommodations were great and it was so convenient to just walk down the path to the attractions or take a pleasant water taxi trip back to the hotel. I will definitely consider staying here again.
