The Westin Imagine Orlando

The Westin Imagine is within 5 mins of two malls with movie theaters, 10 mins from each of the outlet malls, 5 mins from Publix and Walgreens and perfectly situated relative to all amusement parks. There is no better location in Orlando. The hotel restaurant is good and the pool with hot tub is nice too. Perfectly nice and convenient place to stay.

It's a good looking hotel and the people who work there are very helpful and courteous. It's just that nothing seems to work. When I checked in, I was told that the elevator to the parking garage was not working and there seemed to be no attempt to fix it in the three days I was there. Additionally, the TV in the room would come on and there would be audio, but no video. I talked to the people at the desk and was informed that was the way the TV's worked, and that you had to manually turn them on and off several times to get them to come on. They explained that they were in the process of replacing them all. Additionally, my key card wouldn't work after two recharges and finally I had to call security to let me in my room. It's a great location for the Orange County Convention Center, but just needs a lot of work.

My daughter and I decided to slip away for a girls trip to Universal Studios, so we went online to find a nearby hotel. Wow, what a find! The Mariott was perfect, with friendly staff from the valet to the desk staff, to the wonderful person who brought breakfast to our room. The view from our balcony was great, overlooking the convention center, with the pond in front. It made for quite a treat for a mommy-daughter getaway. We'll definately be back!

The hotel is located close to the action, shopping, restaurants, amusement parks, (not within walking distance, but a short drive) but still on a quiet strip that creates a sense of peace and tranquility. Staff is incredibly friendly, helpful and definitely give 4star service - called them at midnight to make up pull out bed and they came quickly and where friendly and efficient. Hotel is beautiful,rooms where beautiful and clean, my only issue is room was advertised as a studio, but was just your basic hotel room size and bathroom was small - was upgraded to a 2-room suite which gave the three adults the space, privacy and comfort we needed. Restaurant on site - reasonably priced and the food is definitely worth it. I would definitely stay there again!!

Pretty much what we've come to expect of Westin - clean, comfortable and elegant. My only complaint is that the pool did not look very well maintained and had dead leaves floating in it that looked like they'd been there for a while, but otherwise an excellent hotel with good value for money. Would highly recommend.

This hotel was amazing! One of the cleanest hotels I have ever stayed at. I am very particular about hotels and I am not very easily impressed. I am going to vacation in Orlando again the summer of 2011 and I will definately stay at this hotel!

We attended a convention, which was conveniently located across the street from the hotel. We had time to lay out by the pool, which had a bar from which you could also purchase bar food. The room was spacious with a nice balcony. Had we stayed longer, we would have utilized the kitchen area for breakfast, but did partake of the breakfast buffet at the restaurant in the hotel. The buffet was priced as most hotel buffets, but the food options were much healthier than most we had seen. Overall a great stay!

I am currently at this hotel writing this from my iPhone. Want to know why? $14.95 to use the Internet here (wifi and Ethernet). Another $12 to SELF park my car each night, $1 for each LOCAL call, and an additional $100 CHARGE, not hold, for using a credit card that is also a check card. I'm not one to complain but I would only expect this joke from the Waldorf Astoria in NYC not the Westin across from The Orlando Convention Center. Please do your research people so you're not stuck in your hotel room typing a similar review from your cell phone

The location was excellent--just a short drive to restaurants and an easy drive from the airport. The rooms were clean and nicely appointed. The hotel staff was helpful and courteous. The restaurant served delicious food. Food could also be purchased at the bar which was handy after the restaurant was closed. Valet parking for $20 per day was also a plus. I would highly recommend it.

If you are looking for a mini escape or for the business traveler. It's a great place to stay. Had a mini kitchenette and there famous heavenly bed!
