The Point Universal Orlando Resort is a Universal Orlando Partner hotel on International Drive that departs from the theme park aesthetic common at other properties. With 214 studios and suites, the accommodations look like sophisticated apartments with full kitchens, handsome furniture and separate showers and tubs. But business travelers are not the only ones who call this place home during a stay in Orlando. Families appreciate the free scheduled shuttle to Disney theme parks, SeaWorld and Universal Orlando, and the on-site restaurant.

Time of our life
Stayed for 8 days originally but then became a 10 day stay. The service is great. Got a complimentary upgrade and the room was amazing. Everything was real close and literally like 5 min away. Went to sea world, universal etc. Loved the lil tiki bar they had by the poolside. Would definitely go back and do it again.

my stay at the orlando point resort in orlando, florida
So when i arrived to the resort it was fairly easy to find and within close radius to the theme parks. I wasn't exactly happy for the fact they didn't have valet when we pulled up. It was pouring down raining and my husband had to park the car and run back to the front of the hotel. We didn't like that very much. Now the customer service was impeccable. They attempted to cater to all our needs. we order a room with a jet/jacuzzi tub and initially the room we were in didn't have it but they changed our room quickly. the only thing i would complain about was the house keeping. House keeping was very poor. our beds weren't fixed completely, the bathroom wasn't clean fully, the sink was left dirty, same sheets on our bed after 2 days, our belongings were just pushed in the corner. besides housekeeping everything else was fine but i did expect more for the money i spent.

Pointe Orlando just average
Location was great and it was clean! Didn't realize there was no wi- fi in our room. wouldn't spend the money on the breakfast bar, but the location was good. Bellhops were great, counter staff didn't seem to know what was going on when we had questions. They didn't have a business center with computer as advertised we weren't able to print our boarding passes early.

Adult family trip
Very pleasant stay, pool area was great, but loungechairs could have been more comfortable. Staff was very helpful. Breakfast in lobby was good.I would not recommend for small children. Very close to Universal.

The Pashos
Good Location, Good Service, Too many fees
This hotel is in a good location, the service was good but I was not impressed with what we got for the price. We were led to believe that we would have a washer and dryer in our room but we did not. The staff was very helpful and very nice though. The exercise area was very small and the equipment was rusty and old. The room was comfortable and adequate for the price.

Mostly fantastic
The staff was always very helpful and informative, the rooms were great and very high comfort level. The free shuttle however, was dismal. It was always late, we got stranded with a group of 17 people in the rain for an HOUR because the backup shuttle didn't come when it said it would. Hotel was fantastic. But they need to rethink their shuttle service.

Enjoyed our stay
Great staff, great room, great location. Business center was too expensive and PCs were not updated, but overall, we had a great time. We would stay again.
