The Point Universal Orlando Resort is a Universal Orlando Partner hotel on International Drive that departs from the theme park aesthetic common at other properties. With 214 studios and suites, the accommodations look like sophisticated apartments with full kitchens, handsome furniture and separate showers and tubs. But business travelers are not the only ones who call this place home during a stay in Orlando. Families appreciate the free scheduled shuttle to Disney theme parks, SeaWorld and Universal Orlando, and the on-site restaurant.

Traveling to Orlando
1st time in Orlando
Great rooms. Parking was a little tight but we could see Hogwarts from our room. Quiet rooms but would've liked coffee refilled daily. Would definitely go back.

Great for couples.
A very well kept hotel in a quiet location within walking distance of I-drive restaurants and Wet n Wild water park.Super attentive staff.a junior suite had a coffe maker,microwave,fridge and an enormous very comfortable bed.

good location
Nice and clean though rooms aren't cleaned as you might expect. Just rubbish and towels, the rest you are on your own . They missed one day all together. In the middle of universal, seaworld and water parks. Plenty of fast food, shopping, and oddities. Has extra charges for shuttles per day, nice pool and hot tub.

Great stay but why the resort fee?
Great hotel with affordable suites. Did not understand the resort fee as there were no extra amenities that would not have been available in a hotel without resort fees. That being said, the room was beautiful and staff were accommodating at every chance.

Silver Anniversary dolphin dream
My husband and I went for a relaxing, and yet dream fulfiling, no worries retreat for our 25th anniversary. We were greeted warmly. Every staff person was friendly and eager to help us.(Even provided us with a touching gift in our room.) The room was beautifully clean and comfortable.We rested and relaxed in the evenings after our excursion of the day. Very nice!!

Low cost, convenient accommodations
Loved the convenient location for Universal Theme Park, although only two shuttles a day so you'll need a car. Close to big water park too. A bit taken back by the unexpected daily surcharge, but it was only $12 per day. Overall great value. I'd stay there again.

Nice view
If you get a room in tower 2 that faces Universal Studios, ytou can wastch the fireworks nightly from your room. It was also nice to look out the window at the pond and watch the turtles and ducks. We rented a car and were happy that most places were very easy to get to. The pool is nice, but not heated. The menu at the pool restaurant is limited, but convenient. The rooms are convenient, but you need to ask for things such as if you want to have coffee more than the first day of your stay. The room is not cleaned on a daily basis (only change of towels and mke the bed) and the refigerator had food from the last people. However, this is one of the only hotels that we have stayed that we didn't have any cock roaches.

walt disney family trip!
we had a great time here and had alot of fun..very clean place the staff was friendly and helpful. the shuttle rides to the parks were very helpful to get around seeing we flew down there! would stay again!
