Great for the price
I was very satisfied with my experience at this Hotel. It wasn't a 5-Star experience but it was a solid 4. The only area that wasn't up to par was the food, but that was common for every meal I had in Orlando. Maybe they could set themselves apart by offering something above the norm for that destination?

Birthday stay
When we arrived I asked about any upgrades since it was my birthday and immediately got an upgrade to a one bedroom suite without additional cost! The staff was always friendly and willing to be of help; the room was very clean. We were in tower 1, 9th floor. The refresh service was a bit slow with giving us clean towels but when I needed them were accommodating. The pool area was very inviting, nice size, clean pool. Liked having the Cabana Bar at the pool area however the drinks were expensive. Other than that, highly recommend The Point. We had a car so the attractions and restaurants were all easy to get to. Def come back!

We reserved this hotel for our 40th wedding anniversary and were not disappointed. The staff was friendly and nice. The bed was very comfortable and the decor was very nice. We did not partake of the breakfast but it seemed nice and at a reasonable price. Since we live in Florida, it was too cool for us to enjoy the outdoor pool or hot tub but noted that out of town guests from New Jersey enjoyed it as we spoke on the elevator ride up to our room.

Short drive from hotel
We enjoyed our lunch at Emeril's at City Walk in Universal Studios. Free Valet parking is offered for the lunch crowd. My husband enjoyed, Gumbo, Beef Short Ribs and Cheese Cake as the $22.00 3 course lunch special. I enjoyed the mushroom Cheese Flat Bread & the Red Fish (similar to red snapper) entree. Portions are large - we shared the cheese cake!

Facilities
The room was good, but when I made the reservation, I thought the room include machine washer and dryer, once we get the room, I found the room didn't have that facilities. I have two children and this facilities are important. I have to waste time getting a facility to do laundry and the result was waste time.

decent place to stay
I stayed two nights while visiting Universal. The room was spacious enough, but the doors creaked and the entry way was odd, sharing it with another room. I was disappointed with the breakfast and lunch/dinner options - very few fresh foods available.

Nice & Convenient
Very nice accommodations, conveniently located to Orlando hotspots and airport. Small drawback - had to go to front desk to get ice. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Would stay there again.

Good experience at The Point Orlando Resort on Universal Blvd.
Very clean, comfortable and quiet suites. No complaints at all. For convention attendees, it is easy to drive or get on the I-trolley just across the street. Would definitely stay here again. Also easy to get the International Boulevard.

Cheap & Close
Not bad, very close to Universal Studio's which is what I wanted. Resort parking not so great. Limited spaces near entrance. Rooms are clean & only issue was the outdated tv, flat screen would be nice but not everyone is there to watch tv.
