The Orlando Metropolitan Resort

room is quite clean, but the carpet is pretty old and looks disgusting.

The Metropolitan Resort was'nt what I expected. To me it was deceving the name and the look of this hotel do not go together. I think the hotel was alittle run down. When you check in, the hotel lobby looks like it could be a 4 star hotel it was very clean and decorated nicely. But the rest of the hotel at least the building and the rooms were run down and I would rate the hotel around a 2 or 2 1/2. The beds were very uncomfortable and the rugs were very dirty. But dispite all of this we had a wonderful trip.

The Metro has a very high class appearance at first glance but the room was actually quite bare. No dvd/vhs player, few channels, no microwave/coffee maker and not really much to look at. If you need a good clean room, nothing more, this is it.

My trip was to dinsey with my girlfriend, and we tried to check in early, but was unable to, but they offered to hold our bags for us, so we didnt have to leave them in the car while at the park. Once we got back to the hotel, around 8 or so, it took a while to check in beacuse of the ammount of people in the line.(being a saturday night) However once we got into the room, i was a little dissapointed, as the room regularly priced at $90 or so i believe, so at the discounted price i could see it being a little better, at what we got. Noisy a/c, and didnt work most of the time, room was poorly lit, which covered most of the stains in the carpet and such. We were on the 5th floor, which offered an ok view of the back of another hotel. Over all, for the price, it was fair, as for being on I drive, it surved its purpose being close to a lot of places. i would not recommend this hotel to someone who spends a lot of time in their room, however if u are budget concious and dont mind your room being somewhat less that perfect, then go for it.

The Hotel was nice but the pool area needs work. there were broken piece to the deck and nails sticking up out of the deck.

My family and I had a overall pleasurable stay. I would recommend the Metropolitan Resort to anyone. The service you get for the price you pay is unbeatable.

The pictures available online were not for the room that was booked. The hotel has two distinct sides- one which has external doors and very dated decor- neither of which is portrayed online. Also, ammenities such as internet and room service were unavailable and the gym was not on-site as indicated online. Overall, I would consider this to be a complete example of a bait-and-switch because the hotel room we booked online was not the one we recieved.

Nice hotel in a good location. Walking distance to food and activities. When I arrived, the key to my room didn't work, but they fixed it. The air conditioning didn't blow very cold, so the room was a little stuffy. The tv didn't work and when I called the front desk they said it would be out until morning. The contenential breakfast was only toast and muffins, but the muffins were good. The pool is big and has a semi-secluded jacuzzi. All in all a great deal for $60.

I was just visiting a friend for the weekend so this fit my needs. Nothing fancy, great price here on cheap tickets and just practical. I wouldn't take my girlfriend here but it was cool for two guys just looking to hang for a weekend and using it for a place to crash.

Everything in walking distance very nice location. While the staff could of been more helpful we made the best of it. The pool bar called "Ripples" was nice and very friendly. Thy were helpful in guiding us in the right locations for a good time.
