The Floridian Hotel and Suites

Adequate for the price, which was low, but a bit bare and disorganized.

Your basic hotel with everything you need but nothing fancy! Room and bathroom were clean. The only complaint was the raggedy looking bedspread full of holes, but everything else was fine!

the hotel was ok, other than the big hole in my white spread, which was annoying me, and the big hole in my bedroom carpet, everthing else was ok. i would stay again it was near everything. i had a good time

This hotel came as a really good surprise....I expected it to be clean but not an overall value as it turned out to be! It was $40 per night and was as nice a room and/or accomodations as I have seen for $90 per night elsewhere!

Clean room and bathroom, comfortable beds, perfect location. Great value for the $$$$

After a long day at Universal Studios, it was great to know that the hotel was less than 2 miles away! It was a quick drive away, with plenty of restaurants and other stores nearby. The room was clean and comfortable enough for a good night's sleep before heading home the next morning. And free breakfast is always a plus. I would recommend for anyone who wants a decent place for a good price, just minutes away from Universal Studios.

This is more of a 2 star motel. It's location is very good though, with Perkins within walking distance and restaurants on International Drive less than 2 minutes drive. The continental breakfast wasn't great - toast, cereal, and coffee was all they had.

When we first got to Orlando we had a lot of trouble finding the hotel. They changed their name from Baymont to The Floridian. The lobby of the hotel is nice. They have a nice pool. But the rooms are bad quality. It looks like a motel. They really need to remodel. They only have a shuttle to Universal it leaves early at 8:15 (also around 11)and picks you up around 6:30. They need more shuttle times. They should also offer a shuttle to Disney. The continental breakfast was good. The wireless internet seemed to not work while I was there.

It was an awful experience, first because when i arrived, the girl at the lobby told me that I hadn't any reservation. She never wanted to see my printed confirmation (already paid), and her way to address to me and attitude weren't helpfull. After 20 min trying to understand what was the problem, i asked for a manager and this last girl (blonde) it was who resolved so disagreeable situation. After receive the room, i received a room for smokers, and i had asked non-smoker room. Again I had to beg (literally) for changing the room asigned. I doubt come back again bye.

The hotel was basic, the air conditioning didn't work that well and the website advertised the hotel having a shuttle service to universal studios, which was not the case!!!! The hotel next door has a shuttle which we had to take. I will not be using this hotel and would not recommend it.
