Great find !
We're so happy to have found this place. The location is perfect if you want to explore downtown Orlando and still enjoy a quiet hideaway when you need it. The Inn has a wonderful spa, lovely staff and a Panera on site. It also offers free wifi for its guests. The rooms are not huge, but clean and nicely decorated. There are plenty of full service restaurants within walking distance. There is a lake with surrounding park across the street for romantic walks or causal picnics. Free parking is available for those with cars though not having a car shouldn't be a problem when staying here. Access to the free downtown Orlando shuttle is only a short walk away. This place is awesome !

Great Location and eats...
Checked in after hours through a lock box with envelope inside with my room key. No problem. Room smaller than most but more like a Euro hotel. Very comfortable with great bed with comforter. Staff is hands off unless you need them but always greets you with a smile. Panera Cafe on the front side of hotel is great for early morning coffee and breakfast with views of the lake and park. Great selection of hip restaurants within a couple of minutes stroll. Great for a night cap.

Just Ok
From the looks online, I thought that this would be a great place to stay with my wife since it seemed quiant like some of the smaller inns that we have been in around the country...plus it was in the perfect location to visit family and friends who live in Orlando. The rooms are quite small (like NY Times Square small) and so are the bathrooms. The bathroom had a weird shower and the way they designed it causes water to spray all over the floor. I was supposed to get a queen bed, but I know for a fact that the bed was smaller than a queen. Decor and furniture in the room was more like an Ikea showroom. Our room faced Robinsin St. so all through the day you just heard traffic, people talking, etc. One night we came back to the hotel and a delivery truck for the Panera was blocking the entire lot, and they wouldn't move or let us into for over an hour. The owner was very apologetic the next morning as others had complained and he stated that Panera shouldn't have done that, but it was too little too late and we were already annoyed. The next night some kids were having a drinking party all night and slamming doors. Overall for the price, I would have probably stayed at a chain and gotten the same or better amenities. The only thing going for this was the location for where I needed to be. With some better furniture, design, this could be a charm one day.

Adequate hotel in downtown Orlando
We chose this hotel because it was conveniently located near our daughter's apartment. The rooms are quite small but generally clean. We did not really see much staff as the front desk closes after four p.m. They give you a key to access your room and the building. There is a Panera around the corner and a Starbucks in walking distance, as well as several good restaurants.

Not so good
Paper thin walls. Urinal smelling bathroom. Crackly floors above head. Absent service, saggy beds. Great location.

left in dark parking lot for 1 hour
When I arrived at 8:00 there was no one at the front desk, the front door was locked and the phone went to voice mail. I waited for over an hour in a dark parking lot. Went to look for another hotel and finally got a call at 9:30 from the manager that he was in the shower and couldn't answer the phoneI went back and he was very devil may care about the incident. I am a women traveling alone in a strange city and was extremely uncomfortable with this arrangement. there was nothing on my [...] description of the hotel that said this was the hotels policy to lock the doors after 7:00. Locked doors I can understand but no one at the desk or answering the phone! And parking lot had no lighting it was a frightening experience. I would suggest [...] not have this facility as an option in the future. I know I would NEVER stay there again.

Panera Bread is attached to the front of this hotel I went inside to inquire how to get in to the hotel and they said people are locked out and left in the dark all the time there. The manager at the front desk goes out and turns on the answering machine and people cking in are just out in the cold!

Great place
Charming hotel with great bathroom products. The location was ideal, centrally located by eola park and within walking distance to independent restaurants and bookstores and boutiques. A diverse area full of both young professionals and families with the lake serving as a friendly, communal gathering spot. I really enjoyed my stay and was glad I happened upon this non-chain personalized hotel. Would definitely recommend it to anyone especially those traveling alone on business or young couples.

Quaint and quiet
We wanted a place to stay across from the park so we wouldn't have to deal with traffic after the fireworks on the 4th of July. This lovely little inn fit the bill perfectly. The room was small but very lovely and tasteful and the bed very comfy. We were not pleased to find that the "balcony room" we had paid for was actually a common covered porch that spanned the length of the building and was sectioned off by what looked like shower curtains! NO PRIVACY!!! Because of the blocked roads for the party in the park we had difficulty getting to the place and when we called the number it took quite a while for someone to call us back with directions and info on how to get into the building (there was no staff on duty at the desk at 5pm on a Saturday...wierd. When he did call back he was very helpful, stayed on the phone with me and directed us thru the streets and into the hotel before he hung up. All in all it was a perfect location for our needs and we were only staying one night so the minor problems didnt bother us. We would come back again under the same circumstances and very well may do it next 4th of July.

Never arrive in the evening!
I had a reservation for this hotel and marked that I would require a late check in (after 4pm) because I would be driving to the location from far away. When I arrived in the area at 10pm the inn manager was not present and therefore I could not get into my room and had to stay at a different hotel.
